[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true]nothing shocks you like a bullet hole leave my fear on the danger line suffering no man should never know leave my faith on the danger line i know what you're thinking i've been there before The stepping stones of life are so simple and so easily destroyed that it makes it seem so closely twisted with the embrace of death. She snickered in a harsh tone as she viewed over and embraced the world around her. The smell of the cold-mist twisting into her nose, the feeling of the moist frozen daggers breaking against her skin, and the dark embrace of the soon vanishing vision of those she so held “dear”. It was perfect, she was alone most of the time, and allowed to embrace her own desires.
This day was no different, she had found herself wandering away from her home and the daily duties she hadn’t even decided upon yet. Stepping out, her foot crushed hard against the moisture soaked green foliage of a field of trees. The perfect location to break off from the distraction of life and simply enjoy the decadence of peace and quiet. Slowly her lips curled back on her cheeks; the absence of color in her tones forming a dark-and nearly menacing grin. Each continued step forward and into the mist only created small “sparks” of sound as her feet continued to crater against the muck and dirt of the ground. Her wooden-and straw mixed sandals continued to lay out a path of destination.
Dressed in bandages, and a slim slack of amegakure-fashioned combat pants. Face dressed in shadows and a single massive blade attached to her back by several slim leather straps that were wrapped around her shoulder, and braced down to cross her chest to her waist where they topped off.
She stood out and strong in the middle of nothing, nothing was on the ground for a good twenty feet. A few trees lined a large-circle of freedom. Nothing, not even rocks, puddles or muck. The ground was bare with a few blades of grass, and that offered a bit of comfort for the mind. She let out a soft sign of contentment, and with that her right hand curled back to her left shoulder. Her fingers slowly curling around the two foot-segmented handle of her blade. All of which was seen as she flicked her weight forward and drew the blade down.
The tip of the blade cracked hard against the ground. Drawn out, and resting with one hand firmly curled around the blade’s neck. She let it rest out in the small span of cracked ground it had formed.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true]she looks like a teenage anthem she looks like she used to be happy with the girl inside she looks so bored sometimes and she has that super pale skin and those soft green eyes she looks like she could have been happy in a better life i tell myself the same damn thing everything will be alright -- The day was young, the air was cool, the earth was wet from a fresh rainfall, and Yasui Iku was pissed. None of those things were that out of the ordinary; the latter seemed to be happening more and more often, as a matter of fact. The cause of this was quite simple indeed: a certain brunette sister of hers was being a massive pain in the ass. All Iku had done was tease her a bit, and her sister was just blowing everything so out of proportion. Well, okay, so maybe she'd also stolen the brunette's favorite scythe and hid it somewhere, and perhaps she'd also tried to write curse words on Kazue's face while she was sleeping, but still. This was so not fair. Her sister had swiped her staff and took off, and then she hid it somewhere in the woods and Iku had been out here for hours trying to find it because she really did not have the money to buy a new one. Her twin was such a vindictive bitch.
See, it wasn't simply that her staff was sitting somewhere in the woods, probably getting soaking wet and covered in god knows what. Iku had planned on a meeting with a certain guy she had a massive crush on; they were supposed to have met over an hour ago, and he was going to be so mad because he'd think she ditched him for no reason. But honestly, her precious weapon was more important than boys in this one situation - and no, she'd never let anyone know that she had actually said that. Ugh, boys. They were proving to be such a problem, it was getting totally unreal. She was pretty sure the two Hoozukis still wanted to kill each other over her, and that was a fight she was actually making an effort to stay out of because no one wants to get in the middle of two feuding teenage boys, seriously. And then there was this other guy, who was sweet and kind and a couple years older than her - a chunin, even - and she was really disappointed that she'd had to skip out on their date.
So here she was, all dressed up with nowhere to go but the freaking forest, and she was not pleased by the situation. It was a white dress, for fuck's sake, and she was going to get so muddy and it was going to be completely ruined and she was going to make Kazue pay for a new one because it was totally her fault. "...stupid good-for-nothing bitch whore... she is in so much trouble... I will fucking gut her for this bullshit..." she muttered to herself as she shoved aside tree branches, skirted over rocks, and very nearly tripped over a few protruding roots.
Half an hour later, she still hadn't made any progress. Well, except in getting dirty. Most of her dress didn't even look like it ever could have been white anymore, and oh, she was fuming. Iku was still muttering obscenities under her breath when she heard a noise off to her right somewhere and decided to investigate.
It didn't take her long to find the source of the noise. Peeking around a tree trunk, she saw that there was a clearing out here in the middle of nowhere, and in this clearing was a girl. Well, more like a woman than a girl, really, cause this chick was definitely a good bit older than she was, and taller too. And that sword she had was fucking huge, good lord. What could you ever need a sword that big for? She was trying to keep quiet and watch her secretively, but, being Iku, she moved and ended up stepping on a tree branch that was dry enough to make a huge cracking noise. Well, there goes that plan. words: 661 tags: seidou notes: ~o~ lyrics: amphetamine by everclear credit: akemi of btn |

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true]nothing shocks you like a bullet hole leave my fear on the danger line suffering no man should never know leave my faith on the danger line i know what you're thinking i've been there before Suddenly her bandages form twitched, her ears quickly reacted to the sound in an extremely unpleasant manner. Her blade grasped arm quickly jerked back, and twisted the handle in her grip before literally throwing it across the path-way and towards the origin of the sound. The massive weapon as easily thrown as anything else one would use but she reacted differently. As the blade-cleared in, the young woman seemed to flicker and vanish. Her once stable body, and direction seemed to flood with dancing segments of lines all while she vanished.
The blade nearing in, and all of a sudden she came back into clear view. Her hand firmly grasping around the handle of the blade mid-flight, and with that. She attempted to cleave it across a nearby-tree to the female’s right as a means of warning. The blade’s weight combined with her natural strength would quickly slice the tree’s base in half. The blade’s length slowly slicing through the hard bark, and oak. Landing on the other side as it landed clear on the ground; tip digging into the muck, and mud. The young woman slowly turning to face the newly seen creature.
A grin slowly forming on her face; hidden by the padding and mockery of bandages that covered her face and chest. “Shhh...shhh, if you're an enemy...I’ll make it hurt,” she chuckled softly; her voice was harsh, and near demonic as she slowly extended the forward two fingers around the blade’s grip more precisely. All while she slowly lifted and propped it up and onto her shoulder. The massive blade’s weight making her slump for a few moments. All while she kept that nearly demonic grin on her face.
Slowly a warping field of energy began to twist and turn around the young woman’s body, the visible intent of her murderous mind starting to expand and explode around her form. Slowly seeping away at first in the sense of small waving lines of dark mass, slowly twisting and turning as they continued to flood outwards and began to take shape.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true]she looks like a teenage anthem she looks like she used to be happy with the girl inside she looks so bored sometimes and she has that super pale skin and those soft green eyes she looks like she could have been happy in a better life i tell myself the same damn thing everything will be alright -- Iku hurriedly ducked out of view, leaning back against the tree's thick trunk. Goddammit. Why did she have to be so fucking clumsy all the damn time? Now she was really, really pissed off, but her curiosity kept her from storming away to continue her search. She wanted to know why this chick was out here in the middle of nowhere with one of the biggest swords she'd ever seen. If not for the fact that she didn't exactly look, well, welcoming, Iku would've strode right out there and asked her. But she'd rather not get a giant sword to the face, so... But it seemed that might happen regardless.
Fucking hell. What kind of chick could just pick that thing up and throw it like that?! That was just insane, and kind of terrifying, holy shit. Well, Iku had decided that she definitely didn't want to get on this chick's bad side any time soon. Except she maybe might have already, what with the flying sword and all. Then the chick had to go and disappear and with her luck she was going to appear right behind the genin and chop her head off or something. This day was stupid. So, so stupid. Thankfully, the girl did not appear behind her. No, she just reclaimed her giant fucking sword and was probably going to calmly walk over to the genin and then chop her head off.
Iku's jaw dropped when the chick slice clean through another tree and sent it toppling. "Holy shit." she murmured. "That is so fucking awesome." Really, it was. That was the kind of thing she would like to be able to do. Unfortunately, she wasn't really going to be able to do much of anything she wanted to because this crazy chick was going to murder her.
"Whoa, whoa, lady, there's no need for that!" Iku declared. "I was just - I wasn't trying to spy on you - you were just kind of here - I'm trying to find my weapon, my stupid sister took it - a-and please don't kill me!" She was actually trying to cower behind the tree trunk now, hoping she could maybe disappear; this chick was seriously terrifying. She liked to boast about how she wasn't afraid of anything, but hell, this was ridiculous. What was wrong with this bitch?
Iku tried to protest further, but fear had frozen her where she stood. Every instinct was telling her to bolt, make a run for it, but her legs kind of wouldn't listen. I'm so, so, so dead. Oh god. Oh god. words: 446 tags: seidou notes: ~o~ lyrics: amphetamine by everclear credit: akemi of btn |

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true]nothing shocks you like a bullet hole leave my fear on the danger line suffering no man should never know leave my faith on the danger line i know what you're thinking i've been there before Slowly Seidou looked down at her young female prey, her eyes darted much like a predator to the mark and seemed to only grow in embracement of the envious void of death. Blade is resting on her shoulders, and handle barely dancing above her grasp. It all seemed to show embrace of her physical strength, and all that combined with an immensely sweeping notion of fear and blood lust. It seemed like a truly dark and cruel monster. “Next time, I won’t miss....so don’t try to sneak up on someone without....speaking up first,” with that she twisted her weight back onto her right heel, and used it to push her body into a perfect 180o spin in order to turn her back to the young female.
As she rotated her body around; she extended her foot outwards and cracked down and onto the grass in front of her. Left, right, left and right. Each time she moved forward to the ground seemed to sink due to the combined weight and the muddy ground below her. Yet she didn’t seem to mind it much, as if she was truly use to this type of environment.
With that one notion, that once seeping mass of hatred and death seemed to slowly wither, and flicker away like a candle in the breeze. As if her very being altered, and morphed into a calm, and caring standing. Of course it seemed as if she could just as easily resnap when the time required it to be so. Unless stopped or halted, she would have regained her original ground. Blade holstered on her shoulder, she cocked her hand back and dropped the blade along her back several feet in order to continue. With a single flick of her wrist; her other hand came quickly connecting to the handle. Just under the other one, and she swung down, and hard against the nearest object around her. A medium-sized oak tree. The blade’s length cracked into the side of it.
With a hard thump, and thud. The blade sliced and cracked through half the tree’s mass with little effort, and the woman only continued. Releasing her vice-grip on the handle, she twisted her feet into the ground, and quickly shot out of her foot into a rotating kick, using the momentum of the original swing to cross her path. Her upper-leg cracked hard into the side of the tree, forcing it to shake and somber with the immense force.

Iku didn't believe that this chick was just going to walk away after scaring the piss out of her like that. Nor was the headstrong genin going to let her. "But seriously, girl, that was a little bit overboard. You didn't have to threaten me with your giant fucking sword." That had been so unnecessary. If she had just told Iku to piss off or something, the genin probably would have left her alone. But now? Now she was going to bug the hell out of the chick until she got some information. Mainly, how did one learn to wield a giant sword like that? She'd always thought she would stick with her staff forever, but hell, that big cleaver sword was so fucking awesome. And it was more impressive than stupid Kazue and her stupid scythe. Heh... she'd like to see the brunette mouth off to her if she had one of those things.
She watched attentively as the girl slammed her blade into an oak tree. Poor tree. It just got fucked up. But, given that she had no great love of trees after her recent team meeting.. Well, let's just say she wasn't going to be the protector of nature in this situation. Or any situation, really. "How strong are you? It can't be easy to lug that thing around." Iku was actually pretty awed by the blonde's skills, even if she wouldn't outright admit it. That was her way; brag when she was the best, and pretend she didn't care when someone was better. "And... who are you? You've got to be from Kirigakure but I can't say I've ever seen you around anywhere... Hmm." That was probably because Iku's attention was only ever focused on guys. The only girl she ever paid attention to was her sister, and that was because Kazue was a little bitch. Case in point: what had happened today. Yeah.
"Are you a jonin? I bet you're a jonin, right?" It was just an assumption, and the chick looked a little young to be a jonin, but hey, you never know. "You should teach me how to use one of those." she suggested. So maybe she was a little arrogant, thinking that this crazy chick would say yes and teach her instead of slicing her head off with that sword, but at least she was trying to learn something that wasn't related to boys, clothes, or her gorgeous hair. words: 426 tags: seidou notes: ~o~ lyrics: amphetamine by everclear credit: akemi of btn |

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true]nothing shocks you like a bullet hole leave my fear on the danger line suffering no man should never know leave my faith on the danger line i know what you're thinking i've been there before Seidou didn’t even turn around to acknowledge what she was saying or wanted to say, instead funneling out the noise she was making and simply continued on with her life completely unhindered. “You didn’t need to sneak around someone, who was using such a massive weapon now did you?,” she nodded a bit to herself, and slowly twisted back on the massive segmented steel handle of the massive and oversized cleaver-blade. Pulling back, and tugging it free of the bark of the tree and the large slant she had formed across half of the overall width of the base. Such an annoying pest? She began to think it over several times, she could kill her and no one would really care would they? Such an annoying creature couldn’t be missed by many if anyone at all.
No, no need to do such a thing yet. “Not strong enough,” she spoke up to her continued questions, it was true. She wasn’t that strong, she couldn’t use this thing without much strain, and at times it felt like she was ripping her shoulder out of the socket as she was tossing it around and cutting into people. It was a pain to walk with, it weighed around three times her weight was offered an immense and constant strain on her back. “I’m Seidou of Kirigakure, and I’m a Chuunin,” she answered out plain and without any added flare to her terms, it was true. She was a simple Chuunin and had no wants to become anything more, that would be far too bothersome with all those added needs to do, and responsibilities.
She nodded to herself a few quick times, and locked the weapon back and around her shoulder. Dropping it down across her back as she stepped forward and slowly into the misty-surroundings. “If you want to use one, get strong enough to catch it the next time I throw it at you, and we’ll talk,” she finished up just as her figure was slowly twisting away.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true]she looks like a teenage anthem she looks like she used to be happy with the girl inside she looks so bored sometimes and she has that super pale skin and those soft green eyes she looks like she could have been happy in a better life i tell myself the same damn thing everything will be alright -- "I wasn't trying to sneak.. I just didn't want to bother you while you were practicing." Iku muttered, probably barely loud enough for the girl to hear - not that it was likely that this chick would care. She would probably put blame on Iku regardless of what she said, the bitch.
"Eh? Not strong enough? Really?" It didn't look like the chick was struggling with the blade much at all; if it was really that heavy... god, Iku wouldn't even be able to pick it up, probably. That was dumb. Why would anyone in their right mind make a sword that big and heavy, that cumbersome? Well, she supposed it could do even more damage than something like a katana or a wakizashi because of its size, but the training you'd have to go through to even be able to pick it up and swing it a little was kind of ridiculous. Iku had never been all that interested in swords. Sure, she'd thought a couple of the seven swords were pretty cool, but she'd always thought she would be a bojutsu master. But this big pain in the ass of a sword was so awesome. And although it would take a lot of work... Iku really wanted to use one.
"Oh. Well, it's nice to meet you, Seidou... I guess. I'm Iku. Unfortunately, I'm just a genin." The girl - Seidou - had started walking away while Iku was talking, although it took her a minute to notice. "Hey, where are you going?!" Of course, she probably wouldn't receive a response.
Iku's face fell at hearing the chunin's parting words. Get strong enough to catch the sword next time Seidou threw it at her? Oh god, that would be so hard. What kind of bullshit was that? 'Oh, catch this giant cleaver sword and then I'll teach you!' So unfair. She didn't even know where to begin with strength training... she'd probably have to ask her sensei for some help, or do research. The former would be less painful, but probably not as productive. Hrm.
By the time she was done thinking that over, Seidou was long gone, and Iku swore loudly and profusely. Well, damn. She'd better go start that training... words: 388 tags: seidou notes: ~o~ lyrics: amphetamine by everclear credit: akemi of btn |
