[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true] Hold your hands into the sky Pray for mercy, instead of time Low budget movies, change our low budget lives There's something to corsets and horror that joins our lonesome minds And these bloody faces with their bloody knives Say if we ever make it We'll be so bloody tired of these times Hold your hands into the sky You are the massacre, the masochist, the tease And you're captivating , standing in front of me Of course he had to mention the blushing - and that only made her cheeks darken more. He was quite perceptive - not that it took much perceptiveness to notice those flaws of hers and pick apart her psyche. There wasn't anything to say to that, because he was right. Completely and totally right. She had never had a dominant personality - never even had the chance to develop one because of the way she had been raised. She had been taught that it was her duty in life to be submissive - specifically, to her father, until his death - and that was something she had never questioned. Never. Finally, she gave a hesitant nod as a response. Tera didn't know how to speak up for herself or how to defend herself. The young woman bit her lip, watching, enraptured, as Youkai wove a seal - and she would swear her heart nearly stopped when he explained what it could do. He assured her that he wasn't hostile... and part of her wanted to believe it. Grabbing her boobs didn't really count as hostile, did it? She didn't think so. However, despite his assurances, there was no way Tera could trust him completely - in fact, she still didn't trust him at all, but she was still drawn to him. Because of his power, because of his strange charisma... whatever the reason, it couldn't be denied. And he was offering to teach her. Why? Surely not because he was just that generous, that kind, that he would take in anyone and teach them. There had to be strings attached, though she couldn't see what those strings were. And... she couldn't say no to an offer like that. All throughout his speech, she had been picking at a stick of dango, but as soon as he began to walk away, she dropped it and stood up. Opportunities like this didn't come along every day. She wasn't doing anything good with her life, so why not throw away what she had to follow this man? She sprinted after him. "Wait!" |
