[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true] Hold your hands into the sky Pray for mercy, instead of time Low budget movies, change our low budget lives There's something to corsets and horror that joins our lonesome minds And these bloody faces with their bloody knives Say if we ever make it We'll be so bloody tired of these times Hold your hands into the sky You are the massacre, the masochist, the tease And you're captivating , standing in front of me Tera glanced at him and held his gaze, tilting her head slightly to one side. The heavy silence was... interesting? She was momentarily bewildered when he burst out laughing - what, what was so funny? - but then, she realized, there didn't have to be anything particularly funny about anything for him to be laughing. He was simply happy. And that was enough to make her wipe the remaining tears off her face and sport a grin of her own, although she didn't have a bout of spontaneous laughter as he had. And then he pulled her close again, and she hooked her arms around his neck, just enjoying him and being happy, a rare occurrence. "I'm glad -" The rest of her sentence was cut off as he pulled her into another kiss. She had meant to say she was glad that her existence made someone happy... Perhaps it was for the best that that had not been said. She didn't want to ruin the moment with her penchant for self-deprecation, after all. Tera had made him happy and, for her, that was the best damn thing in the world. She didn't even reply when he spoke, just laid her head on his shoulder and hugged him tighter. Eventually, when they broke their embrace, Tera curled up on the bed next to him. As much as she liked all the kissing and the cuddling, she was still recuperating, and thus was quite tired. A quick glance at Kakuzu showed that he was still watching her. She offered him another little smile, moved a little closer so she could cuddle with him, and then closed her eyes. Before she knew it, she was asleep, and her dreams contained little more than a single man, and what could possibly be ahead of the two on their path together. For the first time in a long time, Tera didn't wake in the middle of the night from bad dreams, crying out for someone who wasn't there to hold her.
