That floating feeling, being weightless in the air that was what Hanzo was feeling. However it only lasted for a moment nothing more before he was going down. Everything was moving so fast that it was all going slow. One minute he was running along the failing bridge trying to make his was to the girls the next he was walking on air, or at least that was what it felt like anyway. As he was falling he could see the look on Izumi's face, the disbelieve and horror that was their in both the girls eyes. Watching them the look on their faces, it caused him to act to move and reach out for the rope.
He managed to get a hold of it but he was still falling the ropes burning against his hands as he slid down them. Even so he held on now daring to let go or it would be the end for him. Finally someways down he managed to stop falling holding onto the rope dangling against the side of the cliff. He let out a slight breath and looked down below him seeing the fall he would have if he let go. He shook his head at that and looked back up. It was then that he noticed Izumi looking for him and he called out "Hey Izra, I'm not dead yet but I can sure use a hand down here. I mean I know you are probably mad at me but I don't think you want me dead right."
It was then that he started to feel himself moving upward toward the top of the cliff. It seemed that he would get that help after all, not that he every doubted her, no matter what arguments they might have the two of them were always there for each other when it counted. He could feel himself being pulled up and didn't want to just be dead weight for the girls doing nothing to help so he tried to climb up using the wall as a brace. With him climbing and the two girls pulling it wasn't to long before he had reached the top and was pulling himself over the edge of the cliff.
Finally at the top he rolled onto his back looking up at the sky and taking in a deep breath before finally looking at the two girls. He took a moment before smiling at them and said jokingly "Well that just goes to show you that people can't fly it seems. Next time though I say we pick a safer way to test that theory what about you ladies."

Izumi stepped back to give Hanzo some room to breathe. He was alive. He was alive! And that was all that she could ever ask for. She let out a sigh of relief, a hand moving to cover her face while the other clenched beside her as she willed her heart to slow its fast paced beating. Everything was alright now. Their mission was still in progress and he seemed to be doing well, enough to crack a stupid joke. Kimiko pushed past Izumi and kneeled next to Hanzo, tears rolling down her cheeks as she repeatedly apologized for her stupidity earlier.
The dark haired genin waited to the side, taking the time to pull herself together whilst letting Kimiko do her own way of getting over the incident. A minute or so passed before Izumi stepped in, putting a shoulder on their client’s shoulder, and pulling her away gently. Kimiko, who seemed to have shed her obnoxious personality, moved to the side for Izumi, still sniffling and trying to get herself together. From female to female, Kimiko had recognized the scream Izumi had let out earlier and understood the older girl.
After sending a grateful nod to Kimiko for moving back, Izumi stood over Hanzo with hard look. Now that she had time to process what had happened and sort out her feelings, the kunoichi was furious. Kneeling next to him, she stared into his eyes and said, ”Stupid.” Then, in a blur, her hand whipped forward towards his cheek for a slap. She didn’t care if her hand connected or not, however, and launched herself at him into a hug. Izumi shut her eyes tight, trying to suppress the shaking of her body.
”You’re so stupid!” She yelled at him before pulling away and glaring at Hanzo. ”You’re never going over old, decaying bridges again.” Izumi stood and turned her back to him to go talk to Kimiko about finding another route to her village. Wiping her cheeks with the back of her hand, Kimiko sniffled and replied, ”Uhm... There’s another road that leads to my village. Just another half hour walk from here.
Nodding to herself, Izumi turned to Hanzo with a guilty expression. Walking back to him whilst soaking a small towel with water from a water bottle, she took his hands in her and gently began to clean his wounds. ”We’ll go to a proper healer at the village to look at this.” Once done, Izumi wrapped both hands in gauze before asking, ”Is there any other injury I can help with?”

Hanzo was laying on his back catching his breath for the moment the slight sting in his hands from the ropes was bearable. He was about to move to get up to his feet when he felt the weight of Kimiko on his her tears hitting her as she mumbled sorry through the tears. Hanzo just smiled and shook his head at her waving her off. "Hey don't worry about it, it's our job to see that you get home safe. As long as you aren't hurt then I've done my job well and all is fine. Don't worry so much, it all ended well I'm still here you are safe so all is ok." He patted her on the top of her head to try and get her to calm down and relax a bit.
It was at that moment that Izumi came over and moved pass Kimiko toward him the young girl moving out of the way. Hanzo was about to fully sit up then as he looked at Izumi trying to get a read on her. She didn't look pleased with him not at all but he didn't see the same anger that had been there before when they had been arguing over the situation earlier. He should have braced himself since he didn't know just what she was going to do but he didn't figuring she would cut him a break since he could have just died. he was wrong there and realized that when her head came across his cheek.
He didn't have time to react to the slap before her arms were around him hugging him against her. He stayed there awkward for a moment, before he put his arm around her and whispered low "Sorry...Didn't mean to worry you so much." He looked at her as she pulled away and nodded at her protest about him going on any old bridges. He couldn't very well disagree with that and simply nodded at the girls talked about the other route that they would have to take in order to get her him now.
He had gotten to his feet when the girls had finished talking to each other and Izumi was back and cleaning and wrapping his hands. He would have been alright they really weren't that bad but he didn't dear fight her on this not right now anyway. "Thanks, but I'm alright for now. We should probably get moving so we can get her to her town before it gets dark. That will make traveling harder and more dangerous." Hanzo looked up at Izumi and gave her a quick smile before moving to stand next to her placing his hand against her shoulder "Thanks again, Izra."
With that he moved to stand next to Kimiko getting back into formation. He started walking against toward the new route so that they might finally get Kimiko home.
