However, as Kagami no longer had parents there was no one to tell him these things, well his brother could have been the one to tell him if he hadn't abandoned the village some four years ago. Life had been difficult since then and it had definitely affected the boy's personality to the point where he couldn't trust anyone except himself to rely on. There had been one though, and only one. Their name was Hideki, a fellow Genin who rose through the years with the Uchiha and seemingly the only person that the boy could stomach to be around. Though they didn't hang out often, or hardly at all whenever they crossed paths it was only semi-awkward. Today was one of those days as the two had ran into each other coming out of the training grounds and decided to walk around the village, and by some odd reason had ended up well outside the villages gates. Normally this would have been fine in broad daylight, but after a few hours of aimlessly walking about the sun was very near to dipping under the horizon and the two were still a decent distance from even being able to see the village gates. Neither had spent much time this far outside the village, especially after dark, so in their haste to get back to civilization they had gotten themselves even more lost. "Hey Kagami, maybe we should call out for help or something?" Hideki spoke, obvious fear in his voice. It would have done no good for both of them to be pissing their pants so Kagami put it upon himself to take charge of the situation, even though he had no idea where they were. "We're almost back to the village, stop whining." He replied, annoyance in his tone. Even though the boy didn't have great disdain for Hideki as he did literally everyone else it wasn't like they were friends or anything. All they had to do was find a road or something and that would have taken them back to Konoha surely, though finding said road was easier said than done in fading light. This had become more trouble than it was worth and Kagami had a feeling that this day was not going to end anytime soon. words;; 415 tags;; name notes;; whe |
