The day was warm; the sun high and the mist fae. It was so perfect, it lacked the usual density of the night but wasn't as bright as high-noon so it offered suitable senses for him to wander about and meet each and every shadow that grazed him from the nearby trees. It made him feel slightly more relaxed despite the rather intensive bounty placed onto his head by those he had forsaken. The cold and inviting shade only offered him a sense of protection but despite this; he was always attuned to the world around him. He was a predator, and as one he knew to keep an eye out for those wanting to take his mantle away.
His warmly blonde-hair swayed as the winds blew across his face; his clothing was simple. A simple black-hakami and travel wear with a few minor colorful near-neutral touches around the waist in the form of a simple grey sash, and a small Rosh Pipe that existed with small and warmly blue bubbles emerged every few steps forward. Man today was peaceful wasn't it? He smiled; his face lit up with a warm grin, and before he knew it. He had slipped out of the shadows and out into the open. He seemed alerted; his ears twitched and his mind snapped to focus.
Was something after him? Was something that idiotic, he didn't see any Shinobi but his mind knew somewhere nearby. With little warning; his arm was pulled back and removed from the sleeve. Locked down and drawn out, he removed half-the upper portion of his wear, and allowed half his chest to show bare along with his right arm. Several upon several seals were etched into his skin, along with a single massive black dragon that curled around his body much like a guardian. “If you want me, we can work this out over some tea but I assure you that if you engage me. I’ll run,” he nodded, and before he knew it.
He had already lost track of thought and began wandering around the field in a near-circle. “I was doing...something right?,” he pondered for a moment and his bare-rested arm sat against his chin as he blinked to himself.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true] Hold your hands into the sky Pray for mercy, instead of time Low budget movies, change our low budget lives There's something to corsets and horror that joins our lonesome minds And these bloody faces with their bloody knives Say if we ever make it We'll be so bloody tired of these times Hold your hands into the sky You are the massacre, the masochist, the tease And you're captivating , standing in front of me The day was young and Tera was tired. She had hardly slept at all the night before, woken from her slumber by nightmares and fearful of their return if she were to enter the world of dreams again. So she had curled up under her blankets and stared at the wall for hours, until the pale light of dawn penetrated the light curtains that hung in front of her window. She had made a valiant effort to get an early start to her day, but after the hangover hit, the woman curled back up in her bed and got a few more hours of rest instead of immediately hitting the bottle again. If she was ever going to be productive, she had to stop drinking from dawn till dusk.
Eventually, she managed to drag herself back out of bed and exchanged the bandages she wore for fresh ones before getting dressed. Her attire was simple: underwear and her favorite dull blue chemise, which hardly counted as proper clothing at all because it covered next to nothing. It wasn't that Tera wanted to show off her body - she hated the way she looked, actually - but she felt uncomfortable wearing anything more. Then she dragged a brush through her gray hair, and decided to put it in a braid, if only because that kept it out of her face. Frowning at her reflection, she wished she owned some makeup to hide the dark circles that were clearly evident under her eyes.
She had decided that she was going to take a trip to the village that was near her house today. Not only did she need to pick up a few things, but she wanted to inquire about getting a civilian job so she would have some sort of income, seeing as how she had wasted most of what her father had left her on liquor.
After she had decided that she was presentable, at the very least, Tera left the house and began to stroll through the woods at a leisurely pace, and then she saw him - a blond man that looked to be around her age, having a pleasant stroll of his own. But he didn't seem harmless. There was an aura about him, an aura of power... was he a shinobi on the hunt? The woman ducked behind a tree, already beginning to panic. Hopefully, he hadn't noticed her presence, and she could just head back to her house to hide.
But she had no such luck. He spoke, and Tera knew it was directed at her. She peeked around the tree, and a blush colored her face immediately. For some reason, noticing her warranted... taking off his clothes? Her only response to what he said was an embarrassed squeak. Every instinct told her to get out of there, but would running do much good if he was really after her?
So the woman held her position, giving the occasional look around the tree to see what the strange man was doing. He seemed to be... walking in a circle? Well, that was... a bit unexpected. Going against her better judgment, Tera, stepped out from behind the tree and cleared her throat. "Sir?" she asked. "What, ah, what are you doing?" WARNING [/ul] He heard it rather well; a soft squeaking come from a nearby tree (?) and that was when he noticed her; a young and rather attractive young female hiding away from his eyes but what he really noticed, no what he wanted to notice despite his usual calm and caring attitude was what she was wearing. She was partially nude, and she wasn’t too scared to show that off, and he was loving the view. “I was just looking for th-,” he cut himself off and looked her up and down before nodding. “You have a nice pair of assest-,” he cut himself off once more and nodded; his palm and fingers gently stroking his chin before he smiled.
With that he stepped forward and spoke. “Looking for a tea shop is all, I was doing something but I guess it must have passed,” but in truth it was his body reacting to a possible threat but once it got closer, enough to “feel” it out, it seemed to pass rather hastily. Today was going rather well, a peaceful walk and now a cute little female. Could it get much better, he chuckled a bit to himself. “I’m Yokai, and you my dear?,” he asked her directly in hopes of gaining her name but before he could continue.
The next action he saw himself doing was attempting to move in-point blank range, and his hand slowly crawling towards her chest as he extended it outwards. Finger’s attempting to lock and curl around the mounds of flesh and without warning; squeeze and pamper them by rolling his fingers across the shown skin, and eventually meet in the dead center; the nubs of flesh but suddenly if he even go that far stopped. “H-h-huh, oh shit I’m sorry kind of got lost there,” his face was full of a warm-”innocence” as he backed up a few steps.

Then she ducked back behind the tree and folded her arms over her chest, thoroughly embarrassed. She didn't understand why men liked her chest; personally, she was of the opinion that her bosom was far too large, and to be honest, she would even say that she hated her chest. She didn't dare to peek around the tree again, fearing what the strange blond man would do. Usually... usually people weren't quite so forward, and so she hadn't a clue how to react.
"Th-there's a tea shop in town... I-I could show you where it is?" she suggested meekly. Due to the quiet tone of her voice, she wasn't even sure whether he would hear her or not. She finally dared to look around the tree again, and he was a couple steps closer than he had been, causing another little squeak. Tera wasn't sure exactly what he was intending on doing, but she was certain that it wasn't something she would like. Everything about him, despite his casual attitude, screamed 'predator' - the look in his eyes when he'd spotted her, the way he moved - everything. "A-ah, I'm Tera."
Amaterasu was a distinct and rare name, so she tended to go by the nickname as it better allowed her to operate under the radar. She figured that, if he was on the hunt, he would likely know the name Amaterasu - but probably not the family nickname. Of course, that wouldn't matter much if he was specifically after her, then he would know what she looked like as well. But something told her that that wasn't his intention.
She was utterly speechless when he moved in, calm as can be, and cupped her breasts in his hands. Her only reaction was a widening of her guarded eyes and further reddening of her cheeks. As soon as his hands left her, Tera hastily retreated a few steps and again crossed her arms over her bosom. "I, ah, um..." She didn't for one second believe his sorry excuse, and the feigned innocence in his tone only put her more on edge. She didn't know what to do. He smiled softly at the young female; and simply nodded once his hand was drawn back from her chest and placed against the opening of his hakami; fingers curled around it as his hand rested just outside it. “It’s a pleasure, Tera, and don’t worry. I’m not after you....just trying to make sure your not after me,” he nodded slowly, and with that turned to the end of the branch before taking a few firm steps forward. The branch didn’t even seem to move a single flick, as if he wasn’t even on it or if he was, not moving whatsoever. It showed his finely-tuned control, and skill.
With a soft nod; he spoke out. “You mind showing me that tea shop?,” to be honest he really was looking for tea, and maybe a little puddle of water to soak in. His two favorite things that when combined made him swoon like a cat-on catnip. It was a strange thing but it made sense; his predatory talents told him to conserve and wait for his prey but his casual, and careless side wanted him to wander, and seek out his goals but either way it was always relaxing to soak in some cold water.
Slowly he drew his hand back from the brim of his clothing, and nodded.

At the very least, this man, this Youkai, wasn't as harmless as he wanted to appear. Perhaps it was just her sense of danger going a little haywire because he had just walked right up and started feeling her up, but there was definitely something mighty strange going on with him. He was probably trying to lure her into a false sense of security before he struck, like that snake or dragon or whatever that tattoo of his was would do.
However, she couldn't just rescind her offer now - not only would it be rude, but she had a feeling he would be able to figure out the reasoning behind it and would just go after her here instead. Tera had no doubts that he could sense her fear and reluctance and would toy with her because of it, would use it to twist the situation to his advantage. Perhaps she was a little more reckless than she liked to think. "A-ah, sure. It's this way..." At least he couldn't do anything when they were in the middle of the little town... right?
She began to walk, but then hesitated and glanced back at him. Tera definitely didn't feel comfortable having her back turned to this man. She made a gesture for him to hurry up and get off the tree branch - they would walk side by side, because then she could lead him while still keeping an eye on him so he couldn't pull any surprise moves. Of course, it wasn't likely that she would be able to stop him if he tried something... But she was trying not to think about that.
The walk into town was fairly short, but it didn't really seem it because of the nervousness that was threatening to overtake her. Like a prey animal, her every instinct was to flee while the predator wasn't paying attention - unfortunately, she didn't think she would be able to escape regardless.
The tea house in the little village was a very old-fashioned place in design. The decorations were really pretty, and when Tera wasn't blackout drunk, she often spent afternoons here, sitting in a secluded back corner drinking tea and eating sticks of dango... when she actually ate anything - which, now that she thought about it... wasn't as often as she should. Hmm. She should probably think about fixing that. "Well... here we are." she announced awkwardly. As soon as she began to move; so did he and without any wait. He wasn’t moving hastily but instead kept at a firm, and constant motion. Every step forward seemed perfectly balanced out, aligned and focus. Despite his constant focus around the world; and his eyes moving from his front path so often. He seemed to easily avoid and step over every stone, twig, and piece of natural obstruct in front of him. Each step was made with the same distance, each movement of his legs perfectly made as not to waste energy. His eyes constantly scanned the world around him; spotting and focusing on each item he managed to view before they made it to town.
It was rather quiet; he liked quiet and very few people were actually out and on the street. This was perfect, and what made it better was when he saw the perfect little Tea House; it was old fashioned, and he could smell the leaf that flooded the tanks of brew and he knew that this was heaven. At least for him, and with little wait; hell he ran right in and past the young woman and buckled through the door. He was a strange one, and as soon as he managed to enter that wooden-building. He opened his arms to the world, and raised them above his head.
Inhaling a massive amount of air all before he simply and softly let it exhale. “PERFECT!,” his mind erupted into that one word; all while he turned around slowly to meet eyes with the young woman. “Sorry for running past you, I just get excited about Tea, and Lakes....hm...Rice....Dango is fine....but the one thing I actually hate! Is Violence, and Birds. Those things are creepy....trying to sit on me when I meditate, ” he nodded and let out a “Hmph” kind of motion before stepping forward into the inner-building, and into a small room that parted the way. A desk and a man stood behind it.
He nodded, and smiled. “Two cups of nine Pu-erh, a cup of Lapsang Souchong and a bowl of plain rice. A plate of Dango, and a grilled fish,” with that order he moved back and towards a small set near the midsection on the right of the building, and simply waited for the young woman to join him.

The way he moved was almost fascinating - the practiced ease, how he managed to avoid every little thing in his way without so much as looking at it... and somehow she knew that this was a man on an entirely different level from her. But she still couldn't shake the feeling that there was something off about him, something - maybe sinister - that she just couldn't see. Her nerves were frazzled and he hadn't even really done anything yet. She hadn't liked it, for sure, but groping her didn't really count as an attack of any sort.
Tera was a bit startled when he suddenly picked up speed and barreled into the tea house. She followed him in a few moments later and thought she must have been imagining his behavior - he was acting like the quaint little shop was heaven on earth, and there was nothing better anywhere. This guy sure had a lot of changes in mood in short periods of time. Strange indeed. And, honestly, a little embarrassing. This was a pretty high-class place where she was known as a regular customer, and to be in the company of someone that practically danced into the building and shouted... well, it was different. To say the very least.
After he ordered - a startling amount of tea and food, in her mind, she stepped up to the desk and dipped her head to the man that stood behind it. "The usual, please." He nodded and smiled as she turned to follow Youkai to the table he had chosen. She hadn't said anything to him in a while, mostly because she still had no idea how to talk to him. He seemed to be thinking about something different every five seconds, and there was no guarantee that he would respond positively to anything she said - and thus she would rather not take the risk of accidentally provoking him. He was in an energetic mood and before he even knew what happened! His order was placed out in front of him by a rather interesting looking waitress; he seemed to shrug and cup his hand around the first tea he could find. His second ordered lot, and it carried a harsh and smoky like smell and substance to it. It was made out of a unique mold; that aided in health but it was mold nonetheless. It carried over and into the building; he seemed to halt for a moment and looked up at the young waitress before nodding and before you could catch glimpse. He had placed out a small brownish-bag full of rattling items. “To the Chef, and for you,” he shifted his vision back to the fondled young woman from before.
With a soft voice he spoke up. “That feeling you have right now, that’s making you fearful is what I like to call...Senjutsu, even without being able to use it. It always seems to follow me, in a sinister manner,” he nodded slowly and continued. “My name is Youkai Se Yoko, and I’m one of the most wanted men alive but for good reason. I’m what you could call a Sage, but I personally like to call i-....Is...IS THAT CANDY?!,” he seemed to halt mid important sentence and stare off and onto the nearby bundles of sweets. Nearly drooling as he blinked.
He snickered and before you even knew what to do; he had slumped down and seemed to slowly slither in (in an ultra obvious slow walking, comedic way) slip up behind the bundles. Looked both ways, and quickly (slowly) snuck his way back over to his seat. Ultra Ninja Skills! Oh ya! He let out a sneered smile (like Gai) and it seemed to sparkle. What the fuck was this guy? As soon as he sat back down and smiled, he nipped a piece of candy from the small bag and popped it into his mouth. Grrr. “Want one?,” he said nearly muffled by sweets.

Sure, it wasn't a huge amount of food... but compared to a cup of green tea and half an order or dango, it definitely looked like it. Tera sipped her tea - fresh and tart, without a bit of added sugar, and with a couple of lime slices on the side - and just continued watching him. He might have been strange, and far too forward, but he was also very... interesting. It was almost like he was two people, two personalities, stuck inside one man - and they couldn't decide which of the two got to be in charge, so they were always fighting and thus causing his outbursts.
"Senjutsu..." she repeated quietly, furrowing her brow. The word sounded vaguely familiar, maybe something she had heard in class in Amegakure ages ago... but she had no idea what it meant. Despite having seen much more of the world than most people her age due to her father's travels, Tera had always been a sheltered child - hardly any information got through to her unless her father wanted her to know it. Needless to say, he didn't want her to know a lot of things. So most everything that she hadn't specifically been taught was a mystery to her, including this senjutsu. "I don't know anything about sages or senjutsu... would you mind telling me... Oh." Her voice trailed off when the man was again distracted, this time by candy.
So she watched as this man - apparently one of the most fearsome nukenin in the shinobi world - giggled and sneaked over to filch the candy before anyone noticed... really? If not for the fact that Tera was most definitely afraid of him, she would have had a very hard time taking him seriously. "Ah, no. I'm not a big fan of sweets." she declined politely, still trying to take in the information he had given her. One thing was for sure: the more time she spent around him, the less she understood him. He let out a muffled cough and nodded. “Sages are those capable of using Senjutsu to empower themselves, and even others at times. It’s the most difficult type of technique to master as a Sage Animal must pick you, and train you to learn to use it. I never completed my training, so I risk death...or worse when I attempt to enter it...which I have never done. I don’t spend much time training,
[/i]” he nodded yet again and stared her down. “ I am the Sage of Snakes, and as such...you can see how that has done me justice,” just as before he let his attention slide and quickly he threw up a slim piece of red candy and with little miss; it landed right into his open mouth. He chewed down and the sound of it cracking could be heard. He snickered again, and continued to speak. “ Personally, I left my home because they wanted me to go about killing people, I didn’t like that. Normal Shinobi that try to kill me is a must at times but innocent people. That’s going way too far, don’t you agree?,[/i]” he leaned in a bit; lips only an inch from her ear before he spoke. “ Besides, it’s so much funner to just throw the cares to the wind and pester people,[/i]” as soon as he finished, he leaned back out and sat up. His hand swirling around and cupping the small cup in front of him, and with a quick motion of his wrist. He swigged back the entire roast-of smoked tea and swallowed it quite quickly. “ I never wanted to be a Shinobi, but the world has made me what I am...[/u]” his once occupied hand allowed the white-port cup to sit back onto the table’s edge and firmly fixed his fingers around a small red ball in front of him; colorful rice and a bit of honey. He pulled it back and like before; planted it onto his lips and took a firm, and quick bite from the side. Chewing down on the item. [/blockquote]

Sure, he claimed he couldn't use it very well, but for all she knew, that could be a lie - and probably was. She had learned that people were never truly forthcoming about their skills, no matter how much they liked to brag. "So... as a sage... can you summon the sage animal? Or is it a whole different thing?" Summoning contracts fascinated her, though she had never been able to get her hands on one to sign. They were just so interesting, with a broad spectrum of possible animals, and all these animals were just as intelligent as people, if not more so.
"So you left your home voluntarily. At least that was a choice you got to make." Tera murmured. Looking back, she couldn't really say she wished her father had left her in Amegakure; if he had, she wouldn't have lived past the age of seven, so she had to be grateful to him for saving her life, even if he destroyed it as well in the process. Would she rather have died with her mother and brother, or did she prefer this life filled with slaughter of innocents and constantly being on the run because of circumstance? She truly couldn't say. "I was kidnapped by my own father at the age of five and forced into this life." She didn't offer up any more information on the subject, but if he asked, she would probably answer. The woman didn't like telling people no.
"Hm. Then that's one thing you and I have in common." Tera was far too wary to reveal anything more about herself without his prompting. She definitely wasn't confident enough to flaunt what little skill she had and tell him all about it. And what could she do, really? Give him a bunch of paper cuts? Not all that impressive compared to this sage stuff.
She nibbled on her dango - the mitirashi variety, which came with a sticky sauce that tended to get everywhere even when you swore you didn't drip it on anything - and rested her elbows on the table. Tera was still pretty bad at the whole social interaction thing, so she reverted to silence now that she didn't have anything he had said to comment on. He left out a slim smile and nodded. “I killed my own people because they found me with my animal companion, I had to watch as he was ripped apart by the very same creatures I now call me friend. He attacked me and called me a traitor after seeing Ryek. A Sage Animal is simply the most powerful and wise of the entire species, it can be summoned but comes at a price...,
[/i]” he leaned in and extended his hand above her head. If not stopped; he would simply pat it down and rub into her hair with his palm. With that he continued with his bit of food and having already bitten into it. The warm and gooey-center filled with honey seemed to flood out and onto the plate before. Each bite adding a bit more. His hand never leaving her head. “Remember this, never try to become too powerful. People want to use that,” he leaned in and before she or he even knew it. He attempted to peck a small kiss on her forehead. “That’s the one law I live by,” with that he snickered and removed his hand from aloft her head and went back to his work. Cupping a nearby cup and taking a large but subtle swig and swallowing it shortly after. This was a fine day afterall, he met Tera, got fed, and even managed to bother someone. Life was friggin perfect! He let his eyes slowly wander upwards and before he knew it, he was bobbing his head up and down and seemed to be in a small daze. As if the world around him meant nothing. In his mind things simply seemed to unfold, and place out in front of him in hundreds of patterns. Every remark of this day’s life seemed to flash in front of him as he went over it again, and again. Everything had a price, really - and she had learned that few prices were worth paying for what you got out of them. She merely blinked when he, well, petted her like one would a dog, and a bit of the red tint returned to her cheeks. He just kept touching her, and that alone was enough to make her highly uncomfortable. Tera didn't like being touched, not by anyone, and most certainly not by this man - who had already made his intentions clear enough in her mind. Even though he wasn't showing any signs of it now, she was sure he didn't intend to stop at just feeling her up a little.
"Believe me, that's a lesson I have learned many times over." After all, she had been raised to be her father's perfect weapon; he had done nothing through the years but use what power she had - and she had never refused him, not even when her refusal would have spared hundreds upon hundreds of innocent civilian lives. How could she have? He had been the only one to ever love her, it would have killed her to let him down.
So far it seemed he was quite talented at two things: leaving her speechless, and not respecting her personal space, and Tera didn't think he was going to stop doing either of those things anytime soon.
She frowned at her stick of dango; while he'd been touching her, she had somehow managed to get the sticky sauce smeared across the side of her face. Sometimes she swore the sauce could move on its own and covered every surface it could just to drive people crazy. She dabbed at it with a napkin, which at least got the sauce off. It would still be sticky, but oh well.
And then he was... just bobbing his head? What? Where did that come from? "You're kind of strange." she blurted out, then blushed deeply, covering her mouth with her hands. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say that." And she really hadn't meant to. It had just kind of... come out. Was it worth paying? he nodded softly and smiled. “You blush a lot for someone who doesn’t like being touched, it gives off the fact you're extremely submissive aren’t you? If I asked you to do something, you couldn’t refuse me because despite how I act...you know I’m stronger than you. You need to speak up more, ya’know? Defend yourself...or else I’m going to have to do it for you, and that means you’ll never get rid of me,
[/i]” he snickered softly to himself and leaned towards the table’s edge. Pushing his head towards the center, and drew forth a small stick of paper from the middle of the desk. It was swift; his fingers moving masterfully as he drew down a single marking with his finger. He seemed to be matching wit with something, and soon he brought his finger back to his lip and snapped down on the tip. Drawing a slim droplet of blood he used to smear, and mark across the paper’s center. A single double hex, and square formed marking was created. All of which he simply nodded to. “ This seal is one of the most powerful Fuinjutsu to ever be created. I could trap you into any human body I wished, and seal you away forever but I don’t...knowing that you could kill me at any moment. Tera I’m not a hostile man, remember that,[/i]” he nodded and placed the small marking down on the table. Slowly he began to stand, high topped above his cushion. “ If you want to learn my arts, come with me. If you want to stay as you are, stay. Think of this as blue or red, blue means to continue as you are, and red means to better yourself and come to understand the world as I do. Pretty simple’no?,[/i]” he smiled, and stepped forward; each foot seemed quicker than the last as each step forward sped him up. Before long; he had already turned into a running straight and he quickly vanished outside the door. If she wanted to keep up, she had to catch him but she had the choice to stay. [/blockquote]
