Every member wears a plague doctor mask; this is more for show than for any actual purpose.

Purpose:

A group comprised of shinobi of all levels that specialize in airborne or liquid poisons as their main shinobi tool. The higher-ranking members often serve as a guard for the Daimyo, and all members are sent on missions requiring extreme stealth and silent killings.

Historical Background:

Soon after becoming Daimyo, Kasumi established the Soekitsukai, originally intending for the members to serve only as her personal guard. For the first few years they existed, that was what the ANBU and jonin of the group were, guards. They escorted her to foreign countries and protected her whenever she required them.

However, she determined that that was quite the waste of manpower, and changed their purpose. They would instead be a hand-picked group of specialists, a tightly-knit family of sorts that welcomed only the best, or those that showed immense promise. Instead of being guards, they became devils that stalked the night, carrying out missions that would make some of the most battle-hardened jonin queasy. Whenever and wherever their skills are required, they appear, taking care of the deeds they are assigned quickly and efficiently.
