Playing the request over and over again in her head she couldn’t believe she had actually accepted such a well pointless mission, however it was going to put money in her wallet and she was saving up after all. For what well that would come when she had build up quite the little nest egg but for now her thoughts were strictly stuck to the fact that she had to find this rough beast, catch him and then walk his roaming butt over the village until he was about to collapse. It seemed like a pretty easy mission on paper but she knew beasts like this dog could surprise just about any of the most seasoned shin obi when it came to what they were capable of doing. Haruhi supposed the first course of action was to find the address listed on the little paper she had in hand and hope that the hell dog was sitting pretty at home and not running around causing a muck with the villagers.
The first few knocks at the door came to a silence unlike any other which caused Haruhi to worry if the one paying for this mission was still alive or not. Her worry was calmed quickly when the little old lady who apparently couldn’t take more then two steps at a time finally managed to make her way to the door. It was lucky for her as Haruhi had half a mind to knock the door from its frame in order to check on her living status. ” yes dear what can I help you with?” the sweetness of her voice made her think of her own grandmother back at home, with a smile she bounced flexing her muscles “ I am here to walk Cealus for you, for the request you made do you remember that request ?” the older women seemed to pause for a moment before she began to shake her head “ oh yes ,yes I do and you just happen to be in luck that old mutt is in the living room with me”

Haurhi followed slowly as the older women lead her back into her home and to the room where a large fat dog sat, really shouldn’t see how such a creature had the amount of energy this old women was claiming him had. She supposed that because of the range of motion the older women had that such a dog even with just a bit of energy was more then anything she could handle. It was ok anyways the mission she had been dreading had just taken a turn for a brighter side now that she knew what the dog looked like or well that’s what she had hoped for anyways. Getting the leash upon his neck was pure icing on the cake because after the dog had realized just exactly what Haruhi was planning to do with him the whole situation had gone down hill. She had barely been able to hold onto his leash when Cealus had taken off like a bat out of hell, a good reason she figured the dog had gotten his name in the first place. And so it seemed that the blubber under the dogs skin she had assumed was just large pockets of fat had in fact turned out to be left over bulges of muscle the dog had gained from all the roaming he liked to do. Once she was able to keep a pace with the dog the mission seemed to star heading into a peaceful sort of journey until that was when Cealus found himself wanting to run off to chase another dog or if he spotted a cat he just had to almost eat, the list began to grow large and the stares she were gaining from the villagers as they watched her tethered to the beast dog. Never again would she choose to pick any mission in which she would have to be bound to such a creature again, this was why her family used bats instead of beastly creatures like dogs. They were so much easier to control and they listened far better then dumb animals like this, sensing his leaders negatives thoughts the beast took off in a dash causing the girl behind him to start running.

Twenty laps around the outside of the village was all it took for Haruhi to pull out a kuni and aim for the dogs head, however she clenched the weapon tightly within her palm before putting it back within her sack. It was good to get a little work out and to be prepared for situations like this that was the only thing she could keep telling herself that enabled her not to slaughter the beast before her. At this point however she had noticed that this part of the village she was unfamiliar with, a rarity in its own but none the less truthful. It seemed this mutt had learned the layout of the village rather well and had taken it upon himself to patrol it daily in order to well she wasn’t keen on dog nor was she able to mind read so she really wasn’t sure exactly what this creature was thinking. Along their journey she hadn’t noticed anything specific the dog had been attached or attracted to nor had she noticed anything the dog was leaning towards. To her knowledge there was honestly nothing around the village that would compel the dog to travel the lengths it did unless however the dog was under the impression it was the owner of this village and its rounds were some how its way of protecting the village?
She had to laugh off the idea and quickly found herself staring down at the beast, trying her best to act as if everything was natural. By the time sunset had come to pass it seemed that Cealus was finally ready to be taken home and would be ready to be packed up, though Haruhi had been keenly unaware that the old women’s family had been waiting on them this entire time. She was prepared to be scolded but was greeted with thanks as they took the tired dog from her care, apparently none of them could keep up with the hell beast either. Giving the dog a good pat she bid her goodbyes to the lot of them and found herself heading back, after such a long day a nice hot bath and dinner was the only excitement she was looking for.
