It was a warm sunny day and NAtsumi would be starting the first mission of the day with Sanosuke. Natsumi’s mission today was to round up a flock of sheep who had escaped through a broken fence. It should be easy enough since tracking was second nature to the two of them. She was told that there would be twenty five sheep that need to be put back in their pen. Natsumi was excited to do this mission even if it didn’t really let her use her jutsu skills. This would be the first solo mission she has ever done and she is excited to complete it.
”Oh Sano how about we track down some sheep,” grinned Natsumi as she walked down the dirt road to go and look at the broken part of the fence. Sanosuke barked happily on the top of Natsumi’s head his tag wagging. Once at the fence Natsumi squatted down and took several sniffs. Sanosuke did the same. Once the two of them got a good smell and could remember the sent Natsumi spoke up again. ”Ok for what I smell it seems a large group of them went north while a few stragglers went east and south. Sanosuke you go up north and keep an eye on that larger flock while I go and round up the stragglers,” smiled Natsumi. Sanosuke barked happily and leaped off her head and went on fallowing the sent to the larger flock.
It didn’t take long for Natsumi to find some sheep. Under a tree grazing were a pair of sheep. Grinning Natsumi slowly approached the sheep. But once she was a few feet from them they looked up and baaed at her. Blinking, she slowly approached again but as she was in arms reached one bolted. NAtsumi quickly bolted after the other and leaped. With the speed she had and flexibility she was able to get her arms around the sheep and pull it down to the ground. Groaning softly, Natsumi held the sheep tightly as it struggled slightly in her arms. After a few minutes the sheep finally calmed down. Sighing Natsumi let the sheep go and herded it back to its partner.

”Now you two stay here,” stated Natsumi as she turned her attention to the next set of scents. She went south bound from where she was standing and went almost a full mile until she found a group of six sheep that were grazing in a large pasture. Sighing to herself Natsumi took a few striders over to the sheep but suddenly as if a loud sound went off the sheep bolted in all directions. Smacking herself in the forehead she brought her fingers to her lips and blew. A high pitch whistle was immediately and was her way of calling Sanosuke. In only a few minutes Sanosuke came running down to her a happy smile on his face. ”So how many do you have?” asked Natsumi. The small dog barked a few times and sat down at his master’s feet. Natsumi clapped her hands together a smile across her face. ”That’s great Sanosuke. I have two up north and then I just lost the last six. Are you ready Sanosuke?” smiled Natsumi as she performed several hand seals.
Sano barked happily and suddenly in a poof of smoke Sanosuke had turned into Natsumi. ”Let’s go round up some sheep,” called Natsumi as she started down towards were the sheep had ran off. Sanosuke barked still in Natsumi’s form and fallowed her. The two of them together were able to round up four of the six sheep. The last two had disappeared from the pasture. ”Sanosuke you take these guys up to the two north of us and I will meet you there,” smiled Natsumi as she tapped the tip of her shoe on the ground. Sanosuke poofed and returned to his originally form. Barking happily he herded the sheep up the road and out of site. Sighing softly Natsumi scanned the area for the sheep.
Jutsu Technique Name: Jūjin Bunshin | Man Beast Clone Technique's Label:: Inuzuka Technique Prerequisites: None Skill Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Description:A modified version/mix of the Transformation Technique and clone technique, which is unique to the Inuzuka clan, allows a canine-user to transform their animal companion into a perfect copy of themselves. Like any transformation, the technique can be broken by identifying and attacking the animal, thus dispelling the transformation.

After a couple of minutes Natsumi saw one of the two sheep down the hill from where she stood and was walking at a general pace down to the creek bellow. Natsumi would go after that sheep next but she had to find the other one first. Natsumi started to walk a little bit keeping her ears and nose open to any noise or sent of the sheep. After another couple of minutes the Inuzuka female spotted the other sheep. It was baaing loudly since it had injured itself. Groaning Natsumi smacked her forehead knowing something like this would happen. Walking down the sheep, she sat beside it petting it gently trying to sooth the sheep into a calmer disposition. ”Its ok now. I’m here. No one will hurt you,” whispered Natsumi softly as she let her finger’s play with the soft white wool gently. The sheep slowly quieted down blinking and looking around.
When the sheep finally quieted Natsumi did the only thing she thought she could do. Hopefully her taijtusu training would pay off. Taking a deep breath Natsumi picked up the sheep and gently pulled it onto her shoulders. Groaning slightly at the weight Natsumi pushed herself up into a standing position. Taking a deep breath she started to hike back to where the sheep would be. After several minutes Natsumi arrived at where the rest of the herd was and Sano was sitting patiently waiting for his master. ”Sorry for taking so long but could you go and get the last sheep. She is down by the creek,” asked Natsumi smiling as she tilted her head gently to one side. Sanosuke blinked in surprised his master’s strength but marked happily and ran off. Sighing softly to herself Natsumi fell to her knees and gently pulled the sheep off her shoulders and onto the ground. Then she let herself sit in a criss cross position with her hands holding her feet as she tried to relax her shoulder muscles as well as he back muscles.
But in a few short minutes Sanosuke would arrive with the last sheep and her and Sano would go and find the rancher and tell him they had collected all of his sheep. A Mission well done.
