[cs=2] The preparation for this assignment had gone well her excitement however had truly been the real cause for concern. It didn’t matter that she was being forced to take along another chunin or for the fact that she was rushing off to another land for the soul purpose of taking some stuck up noble back home. No at this moment in time nothing really mattered to her at save for the glorious feeling that finally she was going to be allowed to take on a mission of another level. the difficulty and the skills she was going to have to use in order to make this mission a success thrilled the pants off of her. Unlike her counterpart who seemed less thrilled to be stuck with her and her unbound energy she knew that after a few days he was most likely going to slaughter her himself. seriously Haruhi you act like this is your first mission he had told her after they had learned they were doing it together. She had in turn went on and on about hoe it was her first protection mission and how she had yet to visit another village before. Haruhi had even begun to question him about what the other villages were like and if he spent a bit of time there before returning home. However kyo had refused to answer her questions and had told her to read over the mission details if she truly wanted to know what they were allowed to do. And so he day finally came in which Haruhi and kyo were left face to face with their noble. He was cute but he air of snobbery clung to him it was easy to spot him and she was sure he would stick out like a sore thumb.

[cs=2] They introduced themselves and as kyo began to go over the mission details their noble was quick to ignore him finding it easier to quickly find Haruhi side. He smelled to strongly of fragrance something she had been told that people like his kind were keen to doing. Haruhi feared that if he stayed to close to her she would undoubtedly start to stink just as badly as he did and if that were to happen she would be unable to hide and properly protect her client. In any case she had quickly excused herself for one final bathroom break and has rushed from his side in order to make sure the effects had not yet taken root on her skin. When she was sure she hadn’t begun to stink like him Haruhi returned to her post and the four of them set off on their journey. She found the nobles vassal or well whatever he seemed to be rather quiet and distracted he never seemed to speak and any time she would look at him she found him with a far off expression on his face. She couldn’t help but wonder if the man was homesick for his on land or not it was really the only thing she could think of that would explain why he seemed so distant from the rest of the group. Lost in her own thoughts about the man she suddenly found herself once again in the sights of the young noble. Kyo had been doing his best to move them along quickly as both chunin had found his scent overwhelming to their senses."Haruhi was it "he suddenly asked Haruhi nodded her head as the young man began to smile "you have such unusual eyes so rare and yet so alluring have you ever thought to taking up residence in another village. "

[cs=2] the question had made kyo snort as he knew exactly what the young noble was getting at the noble in return had begun to glare holes in the back of kyos head before returning to stare at Haruhi. He was unaware however of just how oblivious Haruhi was to such things “you know the idea has crossed my mind though if I were to really think about it I don’t suppose I would like to live somewhere else I mean I would probably get homesick and well since all the family I have is my grandparents I don’t think leaving them would be a good idea if they died while I wasn’t around I would feel comply horrible about the whole ordeal “ the noble couldn’t help but stare at her for a moment before offering up a sigh apparently he was giving up for the time being. Kyo on the other hand was trying his best to stop from losing his mind at the fact hat Haruhi had just unknowingly turned someone down and wasn’t even aware of the fact. “ Haruhi “ Kyo called out to her suddenly, quickly she made her way to the front of the group as they continued on “ we need to keep them up on a faster pace if we ever want to make it anywhere close before night fall, do you really want to spend all night with him and still have a almost days worth of a trip to go?” the question was an odd one but the more Haruhi thought about it the more she disliked the idea of having to spend anymore time then she needed to with their current party. “ do you think we could trick them into walking all night under the moon light ? I mean its not like out here in the sand its really that dangerous” it was a lie to think that any place was safe but she knew that if she kept up the idea that it was safe she could honestly tell the two men behind her that they were ok to do such things, and if they believed the words coming from her lips then they were more likely to work with her then against her.

[cs=2] “ No Kyo” she said loud enough in order to allow the other two to hear their conversation “ I do not think our dear noble and his vassal would be able to keep up with us if we kept on going, I know that traveling in the moonlight would help to keep the heat from effecting us but I don’t think someone of such a high status is really trained or capable of walking such a far distance without stopping and sleeping” Kyo seemed to catch on mid go as the horrified look on his face began to slowly slip away, with a smirk he shrugged “ now now Haruhi you shouldn’t go assuming that just because people come from different positions that it automatically means they are weak.” the comment must have struck a cord because all of the sudden the noble was quickly keeping pace with Kyo his vassal on the other hand sighed slightly and moved to walk next to Haruhi. He remained silent but he never uttered a word about their little trick, it seemed that he was aware of what they were doing and couldn’t believe his master had fallen for such a trick. “ you know” Haruhi chimed rather quietly so that only the vassal could hear her “ if my mission wasn’t the safe return of both of you , I think letting you vanish so that your dream filled head could go be were it really wanted to be wouldn’t have been a problem. I think would could have distracted him long enough to let you get pretty far, but maybe you need to leave on your own terms you know ?” he only smiled at her patting her head in the process, never once did he speak or try to utter any kind of explanation. Haruhi was ok with his choice to remain silent it was apparently a dream that he knew was never going to come true even if he couldn’t stop thinking about it. “ shouldn’t be to much longer and we should have you both back safe and sound”

[cs=2] The melt down was evident though the exact moment the blow out was going to occur still left the two of them guessing, they could tell by every action their little noble made that he was far from happy with being made to walk for so long. Haruhi was the first to notice and quickly pulled his vassal down to a mounded pile of sand, Kyo did the same with the noble though he was forced to cup a hand over the mans mouth in order to keep him quiet. Moments later two figures found their way close to where the group had been ‘ I though you said you saw something over this way 1” one of them began to complain to the other one before the echoing sounds of someone being hit washed over them, the other let out a howl and began to hiss at the one that had hit him. “ I did see something maybe were just in the wrong area you weren’t always the brightest one with directions you know and it is dark !” an echo of another hit came again and the two began to fight, the sand made a hiss as they fell and rolled themselves away from the hiding group. Another yell came from a distance and the two quarrelling stopped though their fought with each other the whole way. They waited for what seemed like hours before they moved again “ Were are really close I didn’t think we would actually meet anyone to be avoided, however it seems from here on out we move silently and quickly.” Haruhi nodded her head “ I agree ill keep the back and you keep the front?” Kyo nodded in agreement and with that the stood. The Noble who had once been full of fight now sat in his position unwilling to get up, bending down Haruhi smiled at him “ do you think it wise to sit here and let us get caught ? If you do then I am afraid you will either have to deal with Kyo hosting you to his shoulders or mine” it seemed the last comment had given him enough strength to make him stand. She assumed that the idea of showing up back one on the shoulders of a girl smaller then him must have been to embarrassing for him to deal with. They moved as quickly as they could to get to their destination, the suns light wasn’t helping to keep them hidden and the closer it rose to the sky the more they feared something or some one might see them. However their fears were forgotten when their eyes were set on the gates of the village, at the entrance they were greeted and their cargo quickly disappeared without a word of thanks. The vassal however had lingered back in order to give him their thanks even if the noble had completely forgotten his manners. Having completed the mission the two of them set back for home this time with a more quickened pass then before.
