Another day... another mission; for Shindama at least. Patiently he stood there waiting after his briefing. A Jounin could be seen walking his way over to Shin. Patiently waiting, Shin fluttered his eyelids at what soon became visible. It was here, the tools required to accomplish such a tedious task. The man in the green flak jacket closed in on Shindama, soon enough he was right in front of him. "Here you go Shin: wood, nails, and a hammer," he handed over the supplies, "Try not to drop these on anyone."
Shindama reached out and took the supplies, "Oh and one more ting," said the Jounin. "Take this," he handed him a map of all the roofs that needed fixed. "Thank you," Shindama said taking the crudely drawn map. His eyelids receeded backwards quickly as he noticed the pile of supplies about to fall, he quickly hoped on one foot all around. The Jounin was already gone so no one was here to assist him. Although, he kept it from falling, ending it with a sigh. "Whelp, I better get started," Shindama made his way off, walking until he found a safe place to jump up without losing his stuff.
Once on top of the roofs of Konohagakure, he placed everything down; except the map. His almond hues began to explore the guide of the map. He slowly began to walk across the roof-- a loud crash, snapping of wood and bending of metal. Shin let out a loud yell throwing his arms up in the air bracing himself. He had already crashed through though, there was nothing to brace for. "Guess I found the first hole," he laughed a little and lifted his leg from the hole. Luckily no extra real damage was done. Now ignoring the little accident he smiled, "time to get started..."

Shindama got on his hands and knees, placing the wood over the hole perfectly. The boy would use all his precision and his might for this task. Aiming the nail where it had to be perfectly he lifted the hammer back. Gathering tension for a strong attack, an S-Rank attack. This was it, the moment of truth, the boy ripped through space and time with his mighty blow. The heavens roared, and the underworld trembled-- the hammer reached its destination in seconds.
Finally it landed, back by all the might in his slender arm. The cosmos stopped, a pause in time, silence filled Konohagakure. Wen the silence broke a loud scream echoed in the ears of all. Birds few away, and mountains shook. The iron hammer had collided with the young Genin's thumb. Tears rushed down the boys face. His health points hit zero, he was K.O.ed, he lost the war. Defeated by a hammer, was this the end of the road for Shindama. Would his journey end before it began, or was he just being dramatic.
Shindama stopped acting like he just got stabbed and began sucking his thumb. The saliva being used to sooth the pain that coursed in his blood red thumb. The ninja would just have to suck up the pain and get back to his mission; to not fail. Picking up the hammer Shindama began to hammer away. This time less dramatically, getting the hole fixed up easily.
On to the next one the Genin moved, carrying his mess off supplies as he did. So the mission went on, fixing up hole after hole. Holes were the only problem though, some things just needed extra support. So he fixed those two, making Konohagakure good as new. "Just about done, only got one more house to go!" he said excitedly.

The roofs shook with the footsteps and strides of Shindama. His destination was on the other side of Konohagakure, so it took more then a minute t get there. He has one piece of wood left, and only a couple of nails. His last stop, the final building that required mending. He smirked, excited to finish his mission as his feet hit the last roof. This building was different, the hole that needed fixed was on a steep slant. This would take all his shinobi brilliance to complete.
Shindama jumped down to the ground, grabbing some rope nearby; how convenient. Jumping back up to the building he tied the rope to a post, Now, putting the rope on his own waist, he would use it to elevate down to meet the hole. Shindama placed the wood against the hole and began to nail it down, only placing one nail for now to use as a support. It was a success, his idea worked, now he just had to nail it completely down. Shindama got another nail ready, this one aimed for the opposite end. As he aligned it with the wood and pulled back his hammer the board slipped. He did not notice this until his hammer was through the roof; he made a bigger hole.
He lowered his head in shame, a deep sigh releasing from his lips. "Why me," he called out before getting a hold of himself. "Hmmm, it is small enough for me to still use one piece of wood," as he spoke he aligned the wood yet again, along with the nail. This time he swing and hit it, thus the cycle of failure was broken. He quickly nailed the rest of it down, the deed was done. So, not wasting anymore time he got down from the roof. Putting the rope back where he found it. Then, he headed off to report back with his mission completed.
