Take the job, he said. It’ll be fun, he said.
Never again will she ever take advice from her father! Just days before, when she had been offered the chance to take up the request, her father, Tsubasa, had been aggressive on convincing her to take it. It wasn’t a big job, just a simple D-Rank mission where she had to help out a club on their festival day. Tsubasa, having never attended a civilian school, thought it best to give his daughter some experience in how normal kids her age did for fun. Reluctant and skeptical but wanting to do her father proud, Izumi accepted only to find herself dressed in a black and white maid outfit.
She grumbled under her breath as she sighed, tray in hand and resting her forehead against the cool wall. At first Izumi didn’t mind helping out; it was what she liked to do on occasion. Carry a couple of boxes here, help pour drinks into a cup, and clean up the used tables. Yep, that was all there was to it. At least, before some girl collapsed due to overwork or fever; Izumi hadn’t cared which until the entire class begged her to replace the girl. Just like with her father, Izumi unwillingly agreed to putting on the black and white maid outfit.
It had been a surprisingly almost perfect fit with the exceptions of the chest area and the end length of the skirt. The torso was a bit tight on her body, making it slightly uncomfortable to breathe. Then her skirt! To be honest it wasn’t that bad of a problem. The ends and frills of the bottom were a little shorter than she was used to wearing. Once she had settled in her role as a “maid,” they had her stand by the classroom entrance and go up and down the hallway for more prospective customers.
”Hi!” She waved to random people who she managed to get eye contact with. ”The class I’m with is doing a maid cafe and would love it if you came by.” Izumi flashed any interested party a charming and inviting smile. ”We’re right down the hall in 2B! Please come visit if you need a place to rest.” The dark haired teenager continued to advertise, passing by other genin who had been roped in to help out with the festival as well.
NOTE: Since this is an OPEN mission and anyone can join, please be sure to state in your post if your character is also WORKING or a VISITOR in the festival. And, if this thread doesn’t get a post three days after this initial post, I will treat it as a solo mission until someone decides to join in or I finish the mission.

The hallway wasn't exactly full. It was more so a steady flow of people drifting through, curious to see the various attractions, such as the maid cafe in 2B or the little boutique in 2A. "On behalf of the school, I'd like to welcome you to the school festival! On this hall, we have various things to check out. Please enjoy your visit." Yohane was posted at the beginning of the hall, just before the first classroom. His job was to simply greet and assist any & every person that entered the hall. He took a slight bow toward an incoming small flow of people who entered the hallway. The group would politely thank him, returning the greetings. The boy flashed a dazzling smile to the visitors as they passed him by, getting ready to greet any other newcomers that would follow.
Despite being a mission, it seemed more so like small time volunteer work. Yohane was a bit let down, expecting to be doing more than just greeting people. Fortunately it meant he could relax a bit and have some fun for once. And as he got further into it, he began to enjoy greeting people & helping people with small tasks. The simplest of things like directing someone to the restrooms or guiding them to an attraction of their liking, were what he ended up doing to help out in the festival. Certainly it was nothing as awesome as the thought of going on an action packed adventure with his squad mates, however it kept him busy for the day and entertained him. The only downside was his attire. He was forced to wear a full body red bunny costume. It was embarrassing, but fortunately the people wouldn't see his face under the suit.
With a smaller group of people coming in just moments after the last, Yohane got himself ready to greet. "On behalf of the school, I'd like to welcome you to the school festival! On this hall, we have various things to check out. Please enjoy your visit." He repeated his generic welcoming line. Staring at Yohane, a younger child would display a wide smile and rush to Yoh's leg. "Bunny man!" The boy hugged Yoh's leg. With a light giggle, Yohane would pat the boy's head & look to see his smiling mother and father. "Come now, I'm sure Mr. Bunny Man is busy." His mother spoke, pulling the child away. As the boy and his parents went past Yohane, the boy looked back to wave at the bunny man with another big smile.
"This job ain't so bad." The red eyed boy waved at the little guy, turning his head back to the entrance. As he did so, he noticed a genin that he seemed to know. It was non other than his squad mate, Izumi, coming down the hall in a rather cute outfit. The outfit was a rare site to see her in, but that wasn't the least of his worries. He couldn't dare let her see him dressed like this. Seeing her, he returned his full focus to the entrance and got back to work. Hopefully she wouldn't recognize his voice and head in the other direction. This was far too embarrassing!

Today was going to be a nice and relaxing day, just lay back and chill a bit. That was the plan for today he would probably do a bit of training of course, but he just wanted to relax. So of course that wasn't going to happen, he could never be that lucky. He had just finished up the quick training that he had planed for the day and had come home to relax when he saw his dad talking talking with his best friend who just happened to be Izumi's dad. The moment that he walked in and they turned to him with grins he knew he wasn't going to relax or like what they had planned.
The two of them had something up their sleeve and it wasn't long before he found out just what it was. The two of them came up to him and told him that they had a job for him. They gave him a camera and said for him to bring them back a picture of Izumi on this mission she had taken. Hanzo didn't really get it, he didn't see the point in them wanting a picture of her doing her job. I mean it wasn't like they were ever interested in the other missions that they did so what made this one so special. Hanzo was ready to tell them no and to do it themselves, but he knew that wasn't about to happen.
He sighed to himself and thus found himself at the gate of the school that Izumi was working for this mission. He stood just outside the gate looking at the place and all the people who seemed to be running around. If nothing else they all seemed to be enjoying themselves which mean that things were going well here. Hanzo had taken a step inside now moving through the many people running back and forth trying to remember just where Izumi was suppose to be working. He was about to head to the building when a small group of people came over to him.
"You are one of the ninja hired to help aren't you, glad you are here we need you now. Come with us." He didn't have the chance to reply before they were dragging him away. As he was being pulled he thought he caught a glimpse of someone that looked like Izumi talking to a large bunny. He quickly shook off that idea he was probably just seeing things.
