Name of Contract: Menomori Nesting Grounds Contract

The Nesting Grounds are located, as the name suggests, within the Menomori (Forest of Eyes), whose location is unknown to all but the crows themselves and those they allow to know. The Forest is named for the thousands of unblinking eyes that stare from the darkness at all those who do not belong.

Once exclusively the summons of the Uchiha Clan, united under one ruler, their close-knit alliance with the aforementioned Clan ended with the death of said ruler - the oldest and most powerful Rook in Menomori. Following his passing, many of the more powerful birds fought over the leadership of the Great Parliament [the name given to their flock, for a 'Parliament' is a collective noun for rooks. Naturally, the other birds were not overly pleased with the name, though their ruler insisted on it].

This caused a split, resulting in the many murders that now exist. Although they maintain an uneasy alliance within the Nesting Grounds, suppressing the deep-rooted animosity, the birds of different murders delight in the rare occasion that they are called out of Menomori by their contract signatories to fight each other.

Many of the summons now hate the Uchiha Clan, though some honour their former alliance and take on members of the Clan as signatories. Whether their relationship with the Clan is positive or negative, all the crows have a great respect for the Clan - or, at least, their power.
