Description:This technique was actually inspired by the Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death of Konohagakure no Sato, which Chigetsu discovered after defeating a Jōnin from the Leaf. The technique first activates when the Tiger hand seal is formed. Immediately, the target(s)'s shadow will leap up and bear hug them. After this, the shadow grows and envelops its the victim's body (chest to legs) like a body suit, effectively binding them in place and preventing further movement. While this is effective in and of itself, it doubles as an effective distraction to divert the victim's attention. In the chance that their attention isn't diverted however, they will see the sight of Chigetsu merging into the surface of whatever the landscape is at the time, causing her to become invisible. This is the first part of the illusion that happens in the first post.
In the second post, Chigetsu is able to move in on the opponent, which triggers the second effect. This part comes in when she gets close enough to the target, in which time she will appear to rise from their shadow with his weapon in hand. From there , she can either strike the person down or interrogate them in order to gain information; and as the illusion transpires in real-time, the damage from a strike will be real. Therefore, it is mandatory to make sure that the strike is a deathblow if indeed one is dealt.
