Unlike a few days ago when the sky were darkened by thick, gray clouds today was all sun and sweet weather. Izumi took in a deep breath and smiled just as much as she had when it had rained. While she loved rain and storms, Izumi also loved the clean air and bright sun. What’s more, today was her day off and she intended to relax and soak in the nice, almost perfect weather. It was only an “almost” because the only thing that she didn’t like were the mosquitoes flying around and trying to take a bite out of her.
Waving her hand at another mosquito, Izumi took in the sights of her village. People moved in and out of the streets, some moved at a slow pace and others with more spring in their step. Now this was more like it. Izumi began skipping (slightly) down a random street, letting her feet go wherever they might lead. It was fun to just walk and have no destination in mind. Moving along for the next few minutes she spotted a familiar person from a distance. Grinning, she picked up speed and landed behind the person.
”Hey Yohane-kun!”
It was her teammate, Kyoyama Yohane. She had been glad he had been sorted into her squad. He hadn’t seem annoying like some people in their class, and in actuality, she didn’t know him that well or had any negative thoughts about him. Yohane was a neutral and Izumi wanted to change that since they were now in a team. ”How’s it going?” She asked him with a wide grin, her signature red scarf swaying slightly after the landing. ”You doing anything today for your day off?”

The markets of the Kumo streets were bustling with activity. Many parents were out & about, doing some shopping to feed the family awaiting at home. A few other genin would pass Yohane by, giving a small smirkof acknowledgement. Neighbor's of Yoh's would greet him as they traveled as part of crowds going in yohane's opposing direction. Children, many being academy students, drifting through the streets in search of adventure. This would remind the crimson eyed teen of his earlier youth not long ago, where Yoh would drift through the village in search of fun. With the village appearing to be have one of those active days that Yohoane thoroughly enjoyed, he decided to take a casual stroll through and take a look around. "Fresh fish!" A salesman called out. "Fresh meat!" Another's voice echoed shortly after. Yohane would simply gaze upon how active the city was. Taking a look up at the sky, he took a deep breath and smiled. "With such nice weather, who could resist the outdoors?" He questioned, standing nearly completely still. Suddenly, a familiar voice rang from right behind. ”Hey Yohane-kun!” Izumi greeted. Snapping out of his thoughts, the boy turned around swiftly with his response. ”Izumi-san!” He cheered to see his squad mate out on a lovely day. "I'm great, just enjoying the city's weather! Nothing more than a little walk around the village. What're you up to?" He responded to her with glee in his voice. "Oh! And you can call me Yoh or anything else if you like. No need to say the whole thing." He chuckled lightly. Not really knowing either of his team mates very well or really at all, it was nice to see that one of them was friendly enough to speak & socialize with him. Maybe he could get to know more about her, and soon form a friendship. To accomplish this, a nickname would be a great place to start.
