Ryoko was extremely happy today since she was taking care of the Kimino children. Ryoko has done this mission several times since she took up her shinobi duties again. Ryoko knew this mission was below her rank but Ryoko loved children and loved taking care of them. Today Ryoko wore a pair of red work out pants with a white wife beater shirt and black flip flops. Her hair was held up in a ponytail. Knocking on the door of Kimino house hold she was greeted by Mrs. Kimino who smiled and let her in. She gave Ryoko the usual talk through of what had to be done and then she left. Ryoko grinned as headed back to the play room where the children where. Sitting on the ground playing with blocks were the twins. Mika and Shun were the middle children being only five years old with matching black hair, Mika having it to her shoulders while Shou had his snipped around his ears. Both children had round green eyes. Sitting a the small table drawing was Haru the eldest. Haru was eight years old and had short brown hair and green eyes like her younger siblings.
Sitting across from her was her younger brother Kenta. Kenta was seven and was exactly 10 months younger than Haru. Kenta has light brown hair and light blue eyes. Kenta was special since he was mute but he knew how to sign very well. Ryoko understands sign language since she picked up these missions taking care of these children. Ryoko enjoyed these children every time she came. But her favorite was there new additional Mayu she was only eight months old with a little head of black hair and blue eyes. ”Hey guys. How is everyone today,” greeted Ryoko with a smile as she leaned against the door frame watching them as they turned their attention to her. All of them got up from where they were and ran over to Ryoko who gave each child a hug and kiss.
Like all the other days Ryoko spent the majority of her morning sitting around and talking with each child and watching them play and draw. Once eleven came around, Mayu started to cry because she was hungry. Like always Ryoko went to the kitchen and heated up some milk that was left in the fridge for feeding Mayu when her parents were out. It took her only a few minutes to heat it to the right temperature before putting a suckle top onto it. ”Shh Mayu-chan, I’m here,” cooed Ryoko as she picked up Mayu and went over to the rocking chair and sat down as she held the bottle for Mayu who quickly wrapped her small hands around it and started suckling. Ryoko smiled softly to herself as she rocked back and forth in the chair watching the little baby girl eat her meal. It would take a few minutes for Mayu to finish but once she was done Ryoko burped her and put her to bed.
By that time Ryoko would go out to the kitchen again and make lunch for everyone. She would make grilled cheese with tomato soup. This was one of the kids’ favorite meals to have and Ryoko was the only one who ever made it, since the kids’ father was lactose intolerant. It took Ryoko just a bit over ten minutes to finish the meal before she called for the children. They came running like always but like every time they did this Ryoko ordered them all to the bathroom to wash their hands which they did willingly. Once they returned they all sat at the table and started to eat the food that Ryoko sat at each of their spots. Sighing to herself, Ryoko walked back to the playroom where she would stand at Mayu’s crib side watching her sleep. Ryoko loved babies and it pained her to watch the little girl sleep. Ryoko had lost her daughter only a short few hours after her birth. Ryoko tried to hide her pain by watching after these children but every time she saw Mayu she felt like she was going to cry. The family knew of her loss and only asked for Ryoko to watch their children when they were gone. The children loved Ryoko and Ryoko loved them just as much. After about ten minutes Ryoko went back to the kitchen to find that the children were done eating and had placed their plates in the sink. Ryoko had taught them to do that and they have been putting their dishes up since Ryoko first came almost five months ago.
”Want to go outside and play now?” asked Ryoko with a smile. She got yesses as they all raced to the backdoor. Ryoko would fallow after them after she turned on the baby monitor in the playroom and taking the other monitor with her. Once outside Ryoko sat down on the porch and watched the children play on their playground that their father made for them. The jungle gym they had, had swings, a slide, monkey bars and see saw. Ryoko found it amazing how much these parents loved their children. After about two hours Ryoko took the twins inside for their nap leaving the older ones to play outside some more. IT was a tad hard for Ryoko to put them down since both hated naps but after a little story both fell asleep. Ryoko would spend the rest of her afternoon playing with Kenta and Haru. By six both parents would be home and Ryoko would leave the children in their parents care. Ryoko would return back to her empty apartment where she would take a hot bath, make herself something to eat, read a few chapters in her book and then headed to bed.
