Tiny paws stretching out to welcome the morning shifted gently over the objects around as the creature found its way to my lap, this was the moment in time when I knew things would be right with the world and I no longer felt alone. Pulling in her emotions she tried her hardest not to chuck the thick diary back at the man crying his heart out and sighed “ you shouldn’t worry to much “ she hated herself for even attempting to sound so sweet, the mere sound of her own voice was causing her stomach to churn in dismay “ I should have your cat back home to you shortly, now that you have come to us we can do a proper search for you. I can assure you that I have all the proper skills needed to bring your cat home.” the man started to sob harder and Zakuro turned to look at everyone who only offered shrugs and faces of “ I don’t know what to tell you” suddenly the man let out a shrill howl “ DON’T TALK ABOUT MY BABY LIKE THAT” he screamed suddenly at all of them, the lot of them jerked and Zakuro found her ability to hold back fading “ Babydoll is more then just a cat she’s my life !” |
