Technique Name: Nunogakure no Jutsu | Hiding in Cloth Technique Technique's Label: Sunagakure no Sato Technique Prerequisites: Binding Cloth Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Elemental Nature: -- Description: The user covers themselves and the surrounding area with a giant roll of cloth which conceals the user as they escape, allowing them to leave the battlefield unnoticed.
Technique Name: Nunoshibari no Jutsu | Cloth Binding Technique Technique's Label: Sunagakure no Sato Technique Prerequisites: Binding Cloth Rank: C Type: Fūinjutsu Elemental Nature: -- Description: The user manipulates a giant roll of cloth with chakra to tightly wrap up the intended opponent. Depending on the relation between user's Fūinjutsu stat and the target's Chakra Reserves stat, this will have the same effect with varying degrees. In order for the technique to work, the user's Fūinjutsu stat must be higher than the intended target's Chakra Reserves stat. If it is not, then the technique will fail.
While somebody is bound by this technique, they cannot move or use any techniques. The ability itself is versatile as once completed, the addition of further seals can be placed on top of the bound victims, preventing them from even being summoned while in effect. Doing so will also increase the binding time by [1] post, but only one seal can be applied at any given time. Attempting to add any others will only cause the entire binding to collapse and leave the target free to go.
Fūinjustu Specs also have an increased binding time of [1] extra post.
If the user intends for the binding to remain intact, then they must hold the cloth with both hands at all times. Letting go of it with one hand will loosen the binding [and if the victim's Chakra Reserves are lower than user's Fūinjutsu stat by only [1] point, then they may break free], while letting go with both hands will cancel out the binding completely.
Attempting to move while binding is in effect is extremely difficult, as doing so will only stretch out the length of Binding Cloth left, which may leave it vulnerable to sustaining damage on the battlefield, or the user may also run out of length of cloth and thus be disconnected from the target, ending the technique.
Covering a full grown human in Binding Cloth from head to toe would take up at least 10 meters of the cloth.
A Sealing Tag may also be prepared on the cloth beforehand.
Technique Name: Nunogoheki | Cloth Protection Wall Technique's Label: Sunagakure no Sato Technique Prerequisites: Binding Cloth Rank: B Type: Kekkai Ninjutsu Elemental Nature: -- Description: Binding Cloth is used for defensive means by channeling chakra through it and wrapping it around the user and any nearby allies, forming a protective dome-like barrier. The barrier can be made around a nearby object such as a rock, to better hold down the fortification.
If the cloth is tainted with the chakra nature of an element, it will help defend against another and become weak against another [e.g made wet by a Suiton technique would make it strong against Katon techniques and weak against Doton techniques].
When this happens, it can then defend against techniques of equal rank if against the weaker element and against techniques of one lower rank if against the stronger element.
Due to the chakra in it, the cloth is hardened enough to defend against most attacks B-Rank and lower [except for elemental techniques, whose method of defense has been explained above].
