Technique Name: [Mugen Zanjutsu: Yoko] | [Infinite Swordsmanship: Horizontal] Technique's Label: Personal Technique Prerequisites: [1] | Shunshin Specialization. [2] | Kenjutsu - B-Rank Or Above Rank: [C-Rank] Type: [Kenjutsu] Elemental Nature: [N/A] Speed of Technique: Shunshin Stat. Description: The absolute basis of Mugen Zanjutsu. The technique requires high speed and a decent knowledge of the sword. By using a single step, the user rushes forward at top speed, and uses a horizontal slash while in the midst of moving to slice into the opponent. What makes this difficult, is the speed at which this move must be done, and so requires a high level of reflexes and sword skill to efficiently pull off without a huge risk of a counterattack. The attack can potentially decapitate the head, slice in half the body, or even amputate a limb depending on its intention. Most effective in close-quarters combat.

Description: Shift. It's a simple concept, yet one of the most difficult maneuvers to perform in battle. Shifting directions of the blade mid swing. In mid swing, the user will immediately redirect in almost an instant to another direction. This can only be done by someone with hyperkinesis, the ability to have superreflexes and complete mind and body synchronization. The reason why this is a technique in and of itself is the extreme difficulty to redirect one's swing when an intention or non-feint is first processed in the mind, usually having to complete the swing before redirecting the sword. This allows the user to perform an immediate feint even in a fully-intent offensive swing.

Description: A quick vertical slash from above. Despite it's simplicity, the user will perform a quick front-flip that requires an intense amount of speed, by doing so, adding onto the power of the swing through an nearly instant rotation, and pummel the opponent with a vertical slash. This can be done in the middle of any Mugen Zanjutsu Technique, simply because the flip itself, even if the blade is completely down, will cause the sword's placement to revert to the perfect position for a strike. A swift movement that requires high speed and reflexes to perform.
[/blockquote][/blockquote] Technique Name: [Mugen Zanjutsu: buraindofureru] | [Infinite Swordsmanship: Blind Deflect] Technique's Label: [Personal] Technique Prerequisites: [1] | Shunshin Specialization [2] | Kenjutsu B-Rank or Higher [3] | Taijutsu B-Rank or Higher [4] | Hyperkinesis Rank: [B-Rank] Type: [Kenjutsu, Taijutsu] Elemental Nature: [N/A] Speed of Technique: Shunshin Stat. Description: By applying enough force into a swing, the user will lock swords with the opponent, forcing them to push back with equal strength or if lower, get pushed back to try harder, if higher, push him back and thus forcing him to try harder. With that, he'll stop, dock downwards and inwards into the opponents guard, and while their eyes focus upon him, attack the hand of user wielding the sword with a blind slash. This blind slash is because, by drawing attention to them inside the opponents guard, the opponent loses focus upon their sword and on what he'll do. Using hyperkinesis to project the trajectory of the blade after the end of the lock, the user can accurately attack the hand at the correct point. This can amputate the hand, if accurately performed, force the user to drop their grip by a damaging slash of the hand, or the user can intentionally slice at the hilt / sword guard of the blade with enough strength to send the sword flying.
