Fuku was pretty much still asleep, and he would be rudely awoken.
It was an incredible day in Kirigakure no Sato, and there was one person who wasn't even awake yet. It had hit about midday when Fuku was awoke by a thud, a pillow landing atop his head. "Fuku-kun, get up." said a firm voice. Fuku turned onto his side, away from the voice. Another thud. "Get. Up. Now." Fuku grumbled something, and it was all silent again. Fuku gave a sigh of relief- still somewhat unconscious from the wonderful sleep he was having. The next thing he could hear and was completely ignoring it was the sound of footsteps, moving backwards and forwards- the twang of things moving together. Then all in one immediate moment, Fuku found himself strung up to the ceiling, upside down before he could even react.
A knot of some sort was on his foot-
"Good morning, Fuku!"
His wife had strung it around him and pulled the trap before standing up to her full... albeit small height. With a giggle, she placed a hand over her mouth. "Fuku-kun, I asked you nicely. Now, let yourself down and we'll have lunch. Yes. It's midday, by the way." Fuku grumbled as his eyes watched her from his hanging position. His eyes closed for a second, before suddenly reopening when a kunai was flung towards him- hearing the whizz of a Kunai, Fuku's innate instinct made him crane his neck so the Kunai was flung past him and embedded into the wall.
"LOOK WHAT YOU DID!" Kyoko chortled, storming past him as she pulled the Kunai out of the wall, and walked around to his front. She had her angry face on. "That was your fault." Fuku grabbed her, and gave her a kiss which seemed to soften her a little bit, she smiled- before it disappeared as she cut the wire and Fuku fell to the floor. "At the very least, say something!" Fuku rubbed the back of his head and rose his voice "Love you!" and he received a grumble in reply from elsewhere in his house. Fuku's eyes opened up a little bit more, to view their apartment. It was a gorgeous, luxurious sort- all wooden and let in so much light.
Their bedroom was upstairs, and all it had was an open space- containing their bedroom, an open shower which of course, Fuku quite liked although it did have a curtain so you could draw it across. And then it had the wardrobe, and the wall of Shinobi stuff that they both used. It was all fairly nice as a starter. Fuku quickly threw off his boxers and threw it into the little basket that was for their washing, and then started up the shower- a lovely warm shower that would help him stretch out his muscles from the extra hard exercise of not moving for more than eight hours, in a still position.
"Kyoko-chan?" Fuku called down, and received a curt reply "Yes, Fuku?" Fuku was about to speak, but had to spit out some water and actually ended up sounding like a drowning rat, Kyoko gave a little laugh as she came up the stairs and hung over the side, watching Fuku. "Have you got any missions today?" Fuku spoke, bringing his fingers through his hair, looking over at his wife. He was half tempted to do a helicopter with none other than his member. But hurriedly decided against it as it seemed that Kyoko was still a little annoyed. "No, Fuku, I don't. Do you?" that was the air of annoyance that rung through their apartment. It also stunk of 'Take me on a date' which Fuku kind of ignored. "No, I have a bit of paperwork to do." and began to rinse off his body from the gel, and shampoo he had. "Okay. Hurry up and settle down Samehada, he's wriggling around."
Fuku sighed, at one point he had Samehada next to his bed; he found that it had somehow worked it's way in-between Kyoko and Fuku and was eating their chakra in the night whilst they were sleeping. That and Fuku got a free slap across the face as she had thought his prick was pricking up against her the entire night- proclaiming that he must've had a 'rage boner' Fuku got out of the shower and quickly got changed, before getting all of his stuff and making his way down the stairs, he saw that a breakfast had already been done for him. "Arigato, Kyoko-chan." Fuku spoke as he walked past, placing a hand on her hip and kissing the opposite side of her cheek. She gave a giggle, and Fuku kept moving towards Samehada- in the corner of the room there was a little stand, except around the stand was also a bunch of straps that kept it from escaping and/or elongating.
Placing his hand on the hilt and siphoning chakra, the sword settled down. "God damn it, Samehada you're like a child. A hungry, shark sword looking child." and so he sat himself down for his breakfast. Watching Kyoko do various Suiton jutsu- smaller scale stuff to quickly wash the plates Fuku grumbled. "Do you really need to use ninjutsu like that? You know how I feel about it." and Kyoko shrugged. "If you'd learn yourself it wouldn't a problem now, would it Fuku?" Fuku shrugged. "You know I can't. I don't even know my elemental nature, damn it."
"Well, maybe you should find out." Kyoko crossed her arms, leaning on Fuku's shoulder. "What's the point, I mean... come on, I've never been able to do it, so what's the point?" Fuku sat there, eating away at his food whilst she looked over him. "Well, it'll be something for you to do. Either that, or you can take me out on a date tonight."
Fuku stopped eating, and looked over at her. "Well, I've got paperwork to do..." his face seemed nonchalant, work related an all that. Kyoko's was just as emotional as a brick wall. "So... you're gonna chose paperwork over me? No...... that's fine, you go ahead and do that, it's far more important." she sounded dejected, and was trying to use that womanly charm to make Fuku feel bad. This was one of those moments where Fuku would say 'Yes dear' but what did he do instead?
"I knew you'd understand." he kissed the side of her cheek hurriedly, trying to get out of the way of her wrath before she continued on, and quickly made his way out of the door "Cya~!" he shouted back, leaving a dumbfounded wife who was now going to be seriously cross with him later.
Well... Maybe I could find out my nature at the least... he spoke as he got out of the door, quickly dissapearing into Kirigakure no Sato with Samehada on his back.
He was going to learn ninjutsu.

--- Fuku spent the next two hours doing paperwork, and had only took Samehada with him because he knew he was going to be doing some sort of training today. Fuku pretty much shrugged, it was one of those days. Once it had finished, he spent a little while at Kozo's little resturant to have a lunch. It was now a bit later and Fuku was just sitting there, thinking. What is the point of learning ninjutsu, or even wasting my time to try and learn it when I've already tried? and only one person seemed to intervene with the conversation in his head, and that was Kozo.
The elder man leaned over the counter opposite Fuku. "Something appears to be on your mind, Fuku-san. What seems to be the problem?" Fuku was broke from his concentrated face. "I don't know any ninjutsu, and I was considering learning. I've tried before and I couldn't learn it. I have a lot of chakra, but can't quite seem to control much of it." Kozo rubbed his bearded chin and thought for a moment. He gave a small chuckle. "Well, you do know where they teach all of that. Heck, maybe you could do with getting some basic instruction again." Fuku shot a look of sternness to him, and Kozo shot one back. "Really?" Fuku spoke, and Kozo nodded.
Fuku gave a long, deep sigh and stood up, "Arigato, Kozo-san. I'll be making a trip there now." he seemed there was no way out of that. It only took a little while to make it to the academy, and standing before it Fuku had memories return to him- a small smile appeared. It was now the lunch and students were beginning to exit onto the surrounding field to play, eat and just have general fun. It was no more than when pretty much the entirety of the academy was there that Fuku actually broke from his stupor to begin walking, and these kids did take note.
He was silent as he crossed the courtyard, the kids quietening down and whispers beginning- yes... I am swordsman of the mist. Nobody quite seemed to have the ability to stop Fuku as he walked across the courtyard. He came before the doors and looked back, tiny pairs of eyes- or almost teenagers staring him down. Fuku didn't even give a small nod, he turned and pushed open the doors, revealing a pretty much empty place. His boots rung along the corridors as he walked, bringing out a teacher. Before he could speak, Fuku brought his hand up, silencing him. "I'm here to see Ukiyo." the man stopped, responded "Hai." and dissapeared for a moment into a corridor.
A slender, albeit older woman came out of the corridor. "Ah, Fuku-san. How are things?" Fuku crossed his arms. "Hai, Sensei. They've been alright." and he stood there for a few moments until Ukiyo broke the ice. "What do you want, Fuku?" Fuku looked to the floor, he felt like he was in the academy as a student again. Swallowing his pride- which by no means was easy to do did he speak. "I want to try again and learn Ninjutsu. I need to start by finding out my element." Ukiyo's stern face didn't falter. "Well, if we got it right the first time around you wouldn't need to be here." Fuku kept his arms crossed.
"It allowed me to focus on being a Swordsman, and look where I am now."
Ukiyo shrugged. "Alright, come with me." and she turned, going back down the corridor. Fuku followed her. "I never went down this area... the staff room." he pondered. Stepping through the door, he could see a variety of younger teachers- some Chuunin. Others were older, and a couple of old faces. "Hello, Sensei's." and he received a murmur of voices in return. Ukiyo dissapeared around a corner and returned with a small stack of papers. "Let's go into your old classroom, Fuku." and walked past him, and so Ukiyo went back through the door and he followed.
Through another door, and it brought back a flood of memories to Fuku's childhood. The quietness was one of them, how Fuku was laid back and couldn't really give a fuck. Ukiyo chucking stuff at him. One of those times. Fuku had leaned up against a desk when Ukiyo put on her teacher face. "I can't believe I'm taking my break off for this..." she grumbled, before putting a piece of paper into his hand. "Affinity paper, you know what they are. So let's find out what chakra nature you are."
"Roger." and boom, with the nod of a head, his chakra nature had been revealed, the paper had turned soggy- just what he had expected.
Easy, right? "Suiton... that's usual for someone in this village to have, but we'll have to make do. I've personally taught a bunch of Suiton students so yeah, I know the theory." she took the paper and put it to one side. "Okay... how would you rate your chakra control?" Fuku looked up for a moment in concentration. "Enough to feed it to Samehada, and move it around like a blob." Ukiyo shrugged. "Pretty bad then. Okay, simple chakra control exercise. You already know them as I'm sure you're aware-" she was writing down on a sheet of paper.
"First, tree walking exercise. Second, Water walking exercise. After that, you come back to me and I'll teach you how to control that damned affinity."
Fuku growled. The two exercises he could never do and the bane of his life as a student, and the one that got him laughed at the most. Fuku dissapeared from the academy quickly and to one of Kirigakure's training grounds in what seemed to be like a couple of minutes, and he found himself a fairly large tree- he could see where other Ninja had tried and failed. Let's take a look... You need a mixture of chakra control to stick to keep your body weight, but not enough that ends up breaking the tree. Like heavy and light, so a mixture of the two? he shrugged, and placed one foot on- hopefully his experience as a Jonin would make this all so much easier. He rooted himself with his foot- but before he could even take a second step the tree made a dent from his own foot.
....and that was too much, evidently.
Fuku stopped, instead of trying again he done the absolute opposite- doing the bare minimum he could muster, he took a second step and fell flat on his back. ... so instead of moving elsewhere or sitting himself up, he laid there. He closed his eyes to imagine all of his chakra. He had done the two extremes, and so visualized that he had found the absolute middle, from cutting his body into four quarters and finding the centre of it all. He then found himself somewhere to go- and visualised himself walking up the tree with that amount of chakra, in his feet. Standing himself up, he tried again. Shrugging it all off.
Another fifteen minutes later, he found himself laying down again. It seemed that his absolute middle was still on the heavy side or the chakra- so he would have to do even more than that. This was undoubtedly quite annoying and henceforth was beginning to test the Civil Barbarian's patience. He tried once more and this time found his attempts quite fruitful. He crossed his arms- he had only took two steps up the tree and he was going to stay there. He had to memorize this amount of chakra.
SO instead of even bothering to walk, he closed his eyes. Imagined all the chakra on the move and just began his climb, noticing the fluctuations of his own chakra as he had to move- it was a process of measuring the amount as he moved. Although this felt so light to him, it felt like he was moving a gaseous amount of his chakra- the fumes. If that was what it had to be in order for it to work, so be it. He turned, and slowly- quite jaggedly made his way two steps back down the tree. That's good... that I'm getting somewhere. he began to just repeat the same steps, not even bothering to go up the tree.
