So many emotions were running through his mind. Excitement. Fear. Beyond Nervous. This was all due to one event that revolved around one girl - Yasui Iku. A date, that's what it was called, and that was what he invited her to. Having reached the age were wanting the opposite sex was predominate in ones mind-set, asking a girl on a date should be natural, right? So why was he so nervous? Why was he so scared of it going horribly wrong? Why was he so excited? Hell, he usually remained cool, calm, and collected the majority of his life, and now, he was frigidity and displaced. It was just unreal.
Shaking his head erratically to bring him back to reality, he got ready for his date, donning on this, and going off with a quick goodbye to his home, since recently, he was declared an orphan, having lost someone important to him, his goal, there were moments where he wanted it to end, but he couldn't. He wanted to live, and albeit some can see him as a coward, others can view him as strong for withstanding the pain that comes with losing a loved one. Especially when it leaves you alone in this cold cruel world of shinobi and death. Be that as it may, the past is the past and the present is the present. Live in the now, not the before.
The location of the start of the date: Corner of the Library.
Time of the beginning of the date: 6:30.
Anticipate: The unexpected.
He had the entire date planned out, and wanted the date to go absolutely perfect, albeit spontaneous moments were always fun, but not if it goes against his plans! He was at the location five minutes prior to the designated time.
Now we play the waiting game.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true] she looks like a teenage anthem Iku was incredibly excited - to say the least. She was finally, finally getting to go on that date that Sherbet Head had promised to take her on at their first team meeting. Of course... they were the only members of that team remaining, but.. This was supposed to be a happy occasion. Not a sad one. Hopefully, they would be able to keep an upbeat mood the whole time and not think about the tragedies of life that had happened to befall them recently. Besides, she had some good news to share with him! And she wasn't going to let anything spoil her announcement, because dammit, it was arguably one of the best things to ever happen to her. Hayate Fuku had given her the sword Kubikiribouchou and taken her on as his apprentice - and since he'd sliced the sword's former wielder in half, that technically made her one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. As a freaking genin. Wasn't that just the most awesome thing ever? Yes. Yes, it damn well was. It felt awesome to be all dressed up - in her most expensive, frilliest white dress, to boot. The low-cut one with the black laces up the front that didn't even hang down to her knees - her favorite dress ever, and one Sherbet Head hadn't seen. He probably wasn't as dressy as she was, but that was alright - she didn't expect him to get all fancy or anything. That was her job, and she did it well, if she did say so herself. It was exactly six thirty when Iku arrived at the agreed location, the corner of the library, and pounced on the Hoozuki, wrapping him in a tight hug. "Sherbet Head~ It's nice to see you again~" The girl planted a kiss on his lips, grinning - she was quite determined to make this the best date ever. And that wasn't going to be easy, she had been on quite a few dates over the past couple of years. "You look nice~" She'd gone from kissing him to playing with his hair in a matter of seconds. For all the shit she'd gone through the past week, Iku sure was energetic. words 378 tags izuugetsu notes 378/2500 |

BANZAI! She was here. She was beautiful. But most importantly, she was here. His smile couldn't be hid albeit it didn't stop him from utterly failing to try, embarrassment for such excitement, it didn't stop with just that smile, his face turned raspberry red. Not to mention, she wore a beautiful attire, one he hadn't seen before, and god damn was it dazzling and fit her perfectly. If he wasn't so embarrassed, he could've been sprouting an erection of his member any moment now - that would definitely ruin the mood.
Her excited voice caused him to jump, and before he could talk in response to her greeting, she kissed him right on the lip, and almost instinctual, he replied with the perching of his lips. Wow, were they soft. He didn't have the ability to fully analyze the power of female kisses when he shared his first with Iku not too long ago, but it definitely had more power than he thought before. His member almost begun to stand ready and would've if it wasn't for self-restraint & distraction, "Likewise, Iku." He replied.
He calmed down his nerves with a quick hidden sigh, only to have them brought back by a playful fingers in his hair, and albeit, he felt suddenly calm soon afterwards - he was comforting towards Iku. It was becoming normal. His adaptability levels were extremely high, something he hadn't anticipated despite being himself. "Thanks." Hehe. "And you look absolutely stunning." She did. He couldn't lie about that.
With a clearing of his throat, he stood up straight, "Let's go, shall we?" Grabbing her hand, wherever it may be, he would walk east towards the pseudo-park like environment. There was something he really wanted to show Iku, especially as it should start their date off pretty well.
"Iku, what do you want to eat?" He asked, despite simply using it to past time while they continued walking towards the Pseudo-Park. God, things were going to get interesting.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true] she looks like a teenage anthem Iku studied the blush on his face for a moment before grinning widely. "You know, you're even cuter when you blush, Sherbet Head~" She had never thought about it before, but the boy probably hadn't gone on many dates before - if he had had one at all - and none of them would have been with anyone near as pretty as she was, of course. So it was natural for him to be a little embarrassed and nervous and whatnot, wasn't it? The girl wasn't exactly calm and collected, but she wasn't nervous or anything. So far, Sherbet Head was just another guy to her - fun for a while, maybe, but it was likely that they'd go out a few times, she'd get bored of the relationship, and then she'd dump him and find someone else. God, thinking of it like that made her feel really mean. Sherbet Head was a nice guy and all - really nice - and hot, with awesome hair, and he was the perfect height, and he knew how to dress, and... Okay, so there were a lot of good things about him. But there were a lot of good things about just about any guy she'd ever dated, and you see how well those relationships worked out. "Heh, of course I do, Sherbet Head~ When am I ever not stunning?" Of course, it was a rhetorical question. If he thought it needed an answer, she very well might punch him. And despite how thin and small she was, Iku knew she was definitely more than capable of breaking his nose if he pissed her off. "Mhm~" She grasped his hand and they were off. After a little while, the excitement that came with holding a cute guy's hand tended to fade, but it hadn't with her teammate. Which was a good thing, of course. "Hmm... hmm... Eh, ramen or something would be good." Iku decided after a moment. She liked noodles as much as the next person, of course, though usually she liked to go somewhere a little more expensive for a date. But she didn't want to be mean and totally empty his wallet like she had Kuro's, by going to the most expensive sushi restaurant in Kirigakure. She wasn't that mean. words 391 tags izuugetsu notes 769/2500 |

It calmed down. His nerves, that is. It became less like a first date, and a date followed by many causal dates before, but if they counted their meetings beforehand, it could be seen as such.
