Beast:
Yuu is a hardened warrior, his experience in the jungles of Kirigakure and especially on the battlefield enhanced his instincts. His senses are above average, inhumane even, being able to see, hear, and perceive far better than the average ninja. Yuu isn't a tactical fighter, hardly ever creating strategies for fights. Instead he relies on what he sees, and hears before him, then using his own body to carry out whatever movements are necessary to take the victory.

Ever since he was a youngin', he relied on his speed to win fights instead of his average strength. Taking advice from the higher ups he focused his training on his speed instead of increasing his strength. His speed is unrivaled.

Natural Swordsmen:
He's been practicing the way of the sword since he was but a little inexperienced boy. Although he's incorporated different styles to his battle, Kenjutsu still reigns far supreme over the others. His skill with a sword, any sword parallels or even trumps that of the current Seven Swordsmen. His innate ability to wield a sword, and use it to destroy his opponents is bewildering.

Although he's still increasing his skills to become a proficient ninjutsu user, he was born with a larger than normal chakra pool. Oddly enough, this still doesn't motivate him to work harder to become stronger with his ninjutsu.
