Mental &Physical BEFORE MY EYES YOU STILL DON'T STOP! ► Appearance Zanji is around five foot 6 inches tall but is still growing thankfully. He is usually seen wearing long black plants and a pair of black ninja sandals, He wears a long white trench coat with a black vest with gold buttons. He wears a white dress shirt as well as a red string tie around his neck. Zanji has a lean, muscular physique, which, over the course of time since the death of his father, has become marred with scars. He has medium-length black hair, usually slicked back with gel, with brown eyes. His chest is the most scarred place on his body so far due to him never backing down from a fight. Zanji has silver/gray eyes, and his skin is somewhat pale.He has enough color in his skin to be looking healthy at least. Zanji tends to wear clothes that cover his front because he is self conscious about his scars because they run deep into his skin. . ► Mental Assessment Zanji is a very kind and generous person. He is nice, caring, and well-mannered, and is always polite to people. Zanji is kind and caring especially to children and the elderly. He is usually seen helping elderly people with their bags, or helping maintain there gardens and lawns when he is not on missions. Zanji has a strong sense of loyalty and will do whatever he can to help out a friend in need even if it will cost of his life. Zanji tends to be the most comfortable when he is listening to music or playing music. Zanji like everyone else gets angry and upset though there are a few certain things that will really get under his skin. Such as disrespecting his father and family or hurting one of his friends. If a person should dare harm one of his friends he will do what they did to his friend and will not stop until justice has been given. Zanji is usually calm and soft spoken person always know where his place should belong. Zanji can usually be seen wearing a smile on his face though it's just a mask to hide his pain that he has endured throughout his life. the only time that masked really comes off if he is with someone he trusts or is playing the piano or more importantly visiting his parents graves. Zanji can be a bit of a prankster when there is time of peace. He knows how to have a good time just like everyone else. But when the situation calls for it or when someone dear to him is in trouble, he become uttermost serious. Zanji can be very serious, and will instantly try to come to their aid. He is even willing to put down his life to protect his friends or his loved ones. Though Zanji is also a bit arrogant at times and stubborn especially if it comes to combat. Zanji has a deep love of fighting and music stemming back to his early days with his father. Zanji felt and was taught by his father that fighting one on one with your opponent is the best and only way to fight. He also feels holding back in a fight can be essential he can learn his opponents true strength while he conserves his own. His love of music however comes from the happy days he spent listening to his father play. Zanji doesn't like to freely speak about others' pasts he feels that the person should tell the others at their own pace. But due to the use of the curse mark over the last two years although used sparingly Zanji's kind personality is gradually changing to be more like a being that only wishes to kill. Though he manages to suppress the urges enough there are sometimes when he cant control it and he will go berserk and attack anyone he sees unless he is stopped. ► likes ► dislikes ► positives ► negatives prone to random fits of berserk hot headed somewhat mentally unbalanced ► Background Information Zanji was born on the evening of the 25th of December. His mother was a female ninja from Kusagakure, where as his father was a traveling musician named Tosuke Ryotoji. He was known throughout the five great countries as a famous musician and swordsmen. Though his father had stopped traveling and decided to stay in the grass village when he met Zanji's mother. It was love at first sight for Zanji's parents. From the moment they met and laid eyes on each other they were almost inseparable. Zanji's mother was in labor for over 12 agonizing hours. Sadly Zanji's mother passed away but she got to name him before she passed away. Zanji came out screaming like a banshee like every baby does when they're first born. His father was still in shock at the loss of his wife that he failed to notice the new life before him. The nurses had finished cleaning up the new born baby Zanji. The nurses handed the new born baby Zanji to his father as they covered the body of Zanji's mother up. After a while Zanji's father finally noticed his new born son in his arms. Zanji's father cried tears of both joy and sadness at the loss of his wife's love and the birth of his very first son. though tragedy came later that very same day. Over the next few years Zanji's father took care of him. Zanji's father still deeply missed his wife but he still had his son so in a way he still had a part of her still. Even as a baby Zanji would always crawl towards his fathers instruments. Zanji's father would always crack a big grin at that and scoop up the infant Zanji just before Zanji touched any of his instruments, Zanji's father would always say after he picked him up "you're gonna make a fine musician someday son and a fine shinobi just like your mother." When Zanji turned 5 his father began training Zanji on how to read music. Zanji was a quick study while studying on learning to read music. His father started Zanji off with the piano for his sons first instrument. Zanji took to the piano like a duck to water his father said. When not teaching Zanji about music his father would train his son in the art of kenjutsu. His father may have been just a musician or so others thought at his appearance but once long ago he was a very skilled kenjutsu shinobi. But due to an injury he had to quit being a swordsman and pick up a new trade. Zanji's father wanted his son to be strong and so he tested what kinda of chakra nature his son was. Zanji turned out to be an earth style user so his father hired Zanji a private tutor on how to utilize earth style jutsu. At the age of 8 Zanji joined the ninja academy. Zanji showed an aptitude for ninjutsu skills. Over the time at the academy he was mostly shunned by the other student because he looked different and acted different from everyone else. Zanji mostly thought of music when he should be paying attention to his lessons. Then one day when Zanji came home from school he found a tragic sight. He was 10 years old when he found his father on the floor of their home. His father was unconscious so Zanji panicked and ran out of the house looking for aid. By the time he did his father was in worse condition. His father was transferred to the hospital the doctors couldn't do anything apparently Zanji's father had a heart condition that he was battling with for many years. Zanji ran to his father's room were his father was still barely alive. Zanji cried tears as his father said "I'm sorry son looks like it's my time I will be with your mother soon be a good boy for me I love you train hard my son...." With those parting words his father passed away. Zanji was put into a foster home and has been looked at and stays with them, though he hates it there and wants to leave and go back to his old home his father bequeathed to him in his will but the Kusa lord could not allow it Zanji because of a financial crisis in the village and they need homes to sell to people who were willing to buy them. He grieved for an entire year and he got permission from the lord of Kusa so he took a year off the academy for grieving purposes. During that year he mostly trained himself learning more about music and practicing his ninjutsu and kenjutsu. Zanji was taken in by his father's brother and for a while things were ok but then Zanji's uncle developed a serious drinking problem. One night after a serious evening of drinking his uncle became extremely violent to Zanji blaming him for the death of his brother. He Even attempted to kill him by choking the life out of him. But Zanji fought back and fought against his uncle. The two clashed and caused quite an uproar so much so that Zanji's neighbors heard the commotion and saved him from his abusive drunk uncle. His uncle was locked away into jail and he was put into a different foster home. After he recovered from the ordeal from his uncle he studied hard but still couldn't shake off the grief and drama entirely. So he failed one year of the academy but the next year he graduated. Zanji at the age of twelve he had mastered the piano. When Zanji had turned thirteen years old he had voluntarily put his name down on a list of applicants to be experimented with the curse mark jutsu. Admittedly very few people survived it but he didn't care if he died it just meant he wasn't meant to go on any further. all the subjects except him died after having their curse seals implanted on them. When he had first awoke however he was filled with a rage and desire to destroy He even went as far as destroying the floor of the hospital wing he was staying on. The medics caught him before he could destroy the rest of the hospital. For the next two years neah trained himself on how to better control that blood lust and rage whenever he entered into his cursed seal state.

Senninka-allows him to use the natural energy he absorbs to transform his body at will. He can change what form he takes almost instantly and can isolate the transformation to specific parts of his body.However, because he absorbs natural energy constantly, he and his clansmen are prey to sporadic and involuntary surges of rage.If he fully transforms, Zanji gains a massive power boost but loses his mind to his murderous side, signified by a change in his voice. When transforming, Zanji skin turns dark and his scelera turn black.

Stage One : Markings will slowly appear on the right side of Zanji's face and begin to glow. The seal will glow red as if it were on fire and spread across Zanji's right side of his body down to his right arm. His right eye Scelera wll turn black and his eye color will change to a pale yellow. Zanjis chakra reserves and taijutsu also gain a small boost going up by one rank in this form.
