I was already well aware that soon they would become a menace, and so I also knew that I would likely be the one that would be dispatched to deal with the problem. I couldn't have been more right. The jounin hanchou, working in place of the Kazekage at the time, dispatched me and only me down to the mountain ridge near our 'oh so beloved' daimyo's oasis. I was thrilled to have been sent on a man hunt, or rather, a slaughter. It was wonderful really. I simply couldn't wait to make it rain and make it rain I did. I arrived at the designated location by nightfall the next day, and began my search for their hideout. It wasn't difficult to find as they seemed to be in the middle of some sort of ritual. A ritual that caused the screams of many victims to ring out into the night sky. I followed these screams and found what appeared to be some sort of church. At first I surveyed the area trying to find some way inside. When I noticed a large stained glass window in the chapel I decided to break in through it. So I timed my entrance with a scream from the victim so I could make a stealthy entrance and perhaps scare the cultists out of their skins. It worked. I made quick work of the assistant, using my chakra strings to strangle her. Then I set to work on the leader. She managed to wound me a couple of times. Right in the center of my chest, and another gashing wound straight through my left hand. I healed these over time as I continued to work on making it rain with her crimson tears. I will admit, I had quite a bit of fun murdering those cultists, however, I believe I have found reasonable evidence to suspect that the woman I oh so brutally ended was not actually the leader, but also not far from it. There will likely be more to come in the future, but for now, I wait. --Homma Ren, date |
