Dark hues are often covered by shaggy, snow white hair that spikes out in every conceivable direction. Easily the most distinguishing feature on the the boy are his sharpened teeth which could rival those of a sharks. A second odd feature is the black patch of hair on the back of his head that offsets the usual white covers every other part of his head. His clothing is a direct reflection of both his name and personality. Black shinobi sandals lead up to slick black pants, and that is where the normalcy ends. What was once a fully sleeved black buttoned down shirt has since lost both its sleeves and a few of the buttons at the top leading to a good portion of Kuro's chest being exposed at all times. While there were no significant events that took place in his early childhood his fate had already been decided from birth that he would grow to become a shinobi. His training began earlier than others of his age and because of that his skills were slightly above those of his peers. In this training Kuro would begin to learn the basics of his clans most famous technique, the Suika no Jutsu. The process of being able to liquify one's body was intensive and not easily understood. Often times any progress gained by the boy would scare him into thinking he would not be able to regain his original shape. However, his parents would not settle for a child who could not proudly carry the clans namesake and continued to give him instruction on the technique. Needless to say, this provided a huge ego boost for the boy who believed that it was his purpose in life to lead others. This also brought with it a level of popularity common with young children, and especially increased attention from girls. With so much attention it was only natural that Kuro became a bit of a womanizer. Unfortunately, the attention would only last up until his academy days. His parents enrolled him in the Kiri academy as soon as Kuro was eligible and immediately he could tell that whatever advantage he had was soon lost. With the only edge he had ever known now a blank slate there was now a strong sense of improving beyond his peers instilled in the boy. He hated those whose skills came close to matching his own and saw it as a direct challenge to his divine right. Never the less, this did not prove to be an issue in terms of progressing through the academy. At the age of thirteen Kuro graduated the academy and became a full fledged shinobi of the Mist village. He was immediately placed on a team and began training and various low ranking missions. Once again any slight progress over those he had known in the academy had been wiped away leading to many verbal arguments between him and his teammates. His head strong personality added to being grouped with two women created a volatile mixture that was doomed to failure. However, before the team had a chance to implode their sensei, while on a solo mission, was killed in action. While normally another would simply be appointed head of the team the various reports concerning the team led officials to believe that they would be better off on other teams.
