His extremities are lanky giving him the appearance of being taller than he actually is. Fiery red hair that extends to his ear lobe are a give away to his heritage while light blue eyes radiate a calming aura. He has piercings on both ears that are filled with golden studs. Clothing wise the Uzumaki sports a blue, long sleeved shirt with the Uzumaki clan signature stitched on the back and front left pocket. His pants are the traditional shinobi high waters that stop mid way through the shin and are black in color. The remaining space on his legs are taped white and lead to black shinobi sandals. Tetsu also sports a pair of black gloves that serve little purpose other than a fashion statement. ► Mental Assessment Tetsu is an easy going fellow for the most part and prefers the life of leisure than doing work. He often lounges about smoking on some sort of pipe or cigar when he should be making himself useful. Cat naps are a favorite of his and he usually spends more time sleeping than awake. He has a soft spot for those than can make him laugh and isn't afraid to make fun of someone for telling a bad joke. Not particularly fond of direct confrontations, the Uzumaki prefers working in the shadows instead of being in the limelight but enjoys some praise now and then. He is fairly competent at whatever piques his interest assuming that it can keep his interest. His attention span is comparable to that of a gold fish and he's liable to just walk off from a conversation if it gets to be stale. His overall ambition in life is to find his sister and that is the driving force behind most of his actions. ► Background Information Most of Tetsu's early life was spent in an Uzumaki refugee camp in an unknown land. Being the oldest of several children he was thrust into an early parenting role to help his parents. At the age of seven there was raid on the refugee camp and in the confusion his younger sister Mizuki had been kidnapped. Fearing the safety of the rest of their family his parents decided to move them to Kusagakure. Not long after they settled down Tetsu enrolled into the academy so that he would gain the power necessary to protect his family. Tetsu had hopes of one day beginning the search for his sister and used that motivation to excel during his time in the academy. After six years Tetsu graduated and became a full fledged shinobi. While he was still rather green to the ninja world the boy saw this as a step closer to finding his sister. The Uzumaki found that he preferred a supplementary role when it came to fighting and soon found himself studying the medical arts. In his time at the refugee camp Tetsu had seen many sick and injured people that he was not able to help, and never wanted to be in that position again. He and his team would train and complete missions for two years before they entered their first Chunin exams, which they failed. Tetsu's lack of will to fight head on was a key part in their failure , and if they were to ever advance in rank there would need to be a change. Through the next year or so he would work on his offensive skills while still maintaining an interest in the healing arts. At the age of sixteen the team would take another crack at the Chunin exams and barely pass. This was yet another step towards Tetsu's ultimate goal. Given his prowess at medical techniques Tetsu soon found himself under tutelage of and experienced Iryo-nin and helping out at the village's hospital. While he would have preferred looking for his sister, being able to help other was a welcome substitute. His search would be held off for two more years as the daily obligations of the village became a priority for the boy which included missions, training, working at the hospital, and taking care of his family. While he has not forgotten his goal, Tetsu believes that he has not progressed to the point where he cold successfully rescue his sister. His time at the hospital has brought about a second ambition in the youth, as he now has aspirations to become the head-medic of Kusagakure. Special Abilities EVERYBODY HANDS UP! ► Special Traits ► Physical Being an Uzumaki has granted Tetsu with a stronger than normal life force as well as an extra bump in chakra reserves, allowing him to fight marginally longer than the average shinobi. ► Special Tetsu is a practitioner of the medical arts and uses his abilities to heal comrades and those he sees fit. It is his career goal to one day become the head medic for Kusagakure.
