The cloth is also long enough for Katsu to use it as a tourniquet if he needs to. His daily outfit consist of a black hoodie, white short-sleeve shirt, and black pants. He has a lot of different hoodies and refuses to go into a situation without one, even in the intense heat of Sunagakure. The hoodie Katsu opts to use for missions is a black zip-up hoodie with the Maeda Clan symbol printed on the back. It's most likely his favorite due to the way it doesn't suffocate him like a majority of his other hoodies, although it has to be taken off for Taijutsu confrontations. He wears multiple pouches on his makeshift belt containing his supplies as a Shinobi. ► Mental Assessment ► positives Katsu is a highly ambitious person at heart. He dreams of becoming much greater than the Genin he is today. even boldly claiming he will stronger than the Tsuchikage one day. He wants to succeed against every obstacle in his path and believes he can. He can be described by her teachers at the Academy as dauntless. He lacks fear when in the face of something that could potentially end his life. He wouldn't even take a highly venomous snake seriously. Instead he replaces his fear with frightening determination which causes him to get into bad situations quickly. Katsu is a very caring person, even to those he doesn't even know. He is willing to sacrifice an evening meal if he sees that someone else is hungry other than him. His friendly personality is something he is known for. He considers everyone to be his friend at first glance, even if they have obvious negative traits that others would avoid. He is persistent in his social life and comes off as the casual type, not liking formality. Katsu's loyalty to Iwagakure and his friends is massive. He will keep any and all secrets those trust with him, and would rather die than give any away. Iwagakure and all who inhabit it come first in his life. ► negatives Katsu has a high level of arrogance. He puts a lot of faith in his abilities and often believes his abilities have no equal unless proven otherwise. He has gotten into a lot of fights because of his arrogance and has often been on the losing end. Katsu is very headstrong in general. He is very determined to take victory if it's in his sight and is too stubborn to back down from fights. He jumps to wildest conclusions most of the time, to the point he believes his cousin Masumi is in love with him when it's clear she doesn't. He'll gauge someones strength and skill by their appearance. He'll even think obvious Nukenin are Loyal Shinobi until told otherwise. He cannot wait on something even if his life depended on it. Time goes on very slowly in his mind when it comes to waiting, leading him to constant complaining when he's forced to wait on something or someone. Katsu is vulgar, making no attempt to mask his cursing in front of certain individuals. It's gotten to the point people often refuse to bring young children around him. ► likes Older women for a myriad of reasons. He enjoys training in multiple areas instead of focusing purely on one area. He believes specializing in just one area would give him too many weaknesses. Chocolate milkshakes are superior to everything in existence. He'd choose a milkshake several times over his loyalty to Iwagakure. Making bets that he knows he will win. He often bothers Masumi with bets so he can receive kisses and hugs, since she isn't interested in giving out either. He's interested in fighting stronger individuals so he can better himself or find his weaknesses. ► dislikes Complicated situations. He prefers missions that are simple and quick. Anything involving specific terms and conditions annoy the piss out of him. People who hold back during fights. He likes fighting someone at their full potential so he can gauge his own strength and development. How can't overcome an obstacle that isn't there, right? People who underestimate him. He may appear to be a dauntless idiot to most people. But he's a creative, dauntless idiot. Meals that aren't warm. Cook it properly or don't cook at all. Genjutsu. He thinks it's for cowards who don't want to take a punch to their pretty little face. Which.. probably explains why he's covered in bandages all the time. ► Background Information Katsu was born to a Shinobi couple who were well-reputed members of the Maeda Clan, his parents were very skilled in Ninjutsu and often claimed that Katsu would become just as skilled as they were in their youth.

Strong Fist Practitioner
Although he hasn't been practicing it for as long as others, Katsu is a practitioner of the Strong Fist Style. This style focuses on fast movements and intercepting blows with equal or greater force. Practitioners of this art are physically strong and have great agility.

High Tolerance to Heat
Katsu has developed a body that can endure intense heat even in warm clothing. This makes it harder for him to become fatigued in the warmest of possible temperatures, even in the desert of Sunagakure. This does not give him protection from the damage of Katon techniques or extreme temperatures, it just takes much longer for him to feel the effects.
