So much had been changing in Kimikos life, even though the world around her had changed she had found someone she could relate to more than her own family. Sure she and Io had much in common and the two looked adorable together but she wasn`t sure if the future would hold the best for her and that was a weakness she`d been suffering from for a long time. Kimi had never had to rely on someone else for her own sake of mind, and the sudden change was making her uncomfortable. She wanted to be on her own like she use to, to avoid people and pretend like she could continue on like the sad lonely little girl she normally was but his smile burnt into her mind and the flower patch he`d shown her seemed to make her shiver with happiness. Sure he wasnt the smoothest male around and he did kind of kidnap her but the gesture of what he did was sweet and loving. No girl could have asked for more from, and the thought of being with him made her head spin so what was the real problem lurking beneath the surface?

There was the problem something was eating her alive on the inside but it was masked by the thought of being with the boy. No one should have that much affect on her, she needed to focus on training and growing stronger, right? The mental battle was driving her insane some parts of her wanted to be with him no matter what and the other part wanted to crawl into a dark hole with a light and book and hide. Wearing her normal blue sun dress she walked down the road from her house, fiddling with her pony tails as she walked. Was she beating herself up over something she honestly had no control over or was it for the simple fact that she was falling in love? Mentally she smacked herself for thinking of something so stupid. Love was an emotion that she could never understand at an age such as this, sure she`d read about it and seen people "in love" but no one truly ever understood the feeling so how could she expect to know the feeling? Kimiko walked slowly down the watching the people pass her she kicked her feet into the dirt lightly wanting to avoid any unneeded eye contact with the men and women of the village.

Kimiko felt confused wanting to spend some time alone for a day at least and she figured her team mates would understand that. She spoke to herself mentally trying to keep a "sane" appearance in public, Look hes just a boy, if you slack any you`ll never be anything compared to your parents. You have a surname to uphold, an only child come on kimi keep your head in the game. Her mother and father wanted the best for the little girl her ideals were wildly based off of them and she had to keep her parents happy before her own happiness. She picked up the pace trying to get to the small clearing that Io and herself had visited the place of their first date. When she reached the clearing she blushed softly looking the area over. It seemed less bright and more lonely than the time before. She moved to sit in a small flowerless area not wanting to hurt them. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath letting the scent of pollen and sweet petals fill her nose she just wanted peace. Al little bit of time to meditate and just look over her own thoughts and life was that to much to ask from the world?Family was a big deal to Kimiko and she wanted to show them that she could do something great with her life and being twelve was amazing but did she need a man on her arm? Would she really want someone to help her when she was stuck to become weak at the knees at the sight of him? She blocked out the thought of Io for a second taking in the sweet scented air once more and exhaled opening her hazel eyes to look around, something so sweet and unnoticeable was her sanity and clarity for the passing time she would be here.

Kimiko had spent a few moments preparing her mind for some nice and easy relaxation, it was hard for the genin to try and fit in with the others she obviously was her own person. There was a lot she`d yet to discover about the world around her and about herself, it seemed to be a growing process. Sure she`d fallen for a guy but she was twelve should those emotional feelings even exist at the time? Maybe Kimi was crazy for wanting to be with a Nara she always thought they had to have clan blooded spouses and with the thought of that it sent a displeasing taste into the back of her mouth. The village was full of interesting clans some stronger than others but she was a no one, a person who didn`t have a place in some great big world. She was simply Kimiko, the daughter of two ninja. There was no rule that she knew off but Kimiko wasn`t willing to give up on her crush not yet at least. Sure Io was a lady's man and he had numerous girls looking at him but how could she just sit by idly and not get upset, it was illogical.

"Twelve year old children shouldn`t even really have a significant other. Do you think mother got to where she needed to be by sucking face with your dad?", she scolded herself wanting to see if the con could out weight the pros but she`d yet to see something that would have stood out from any different relationship. Her meditation was becoming harder to focus on sending all the wrong emotions and thoughts to her head. Sure she was a little bit harder on herself than she probably should have but Kimiko could feel the fear of betrayal and hurt lingering in the air there was so much she was scared of but the time that she spent paying attention to the feeling the more she could feel them growing.
