[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true] An Ounce of Practice... Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard - - - - Although the sun's rays danced vividly over a field of green, the wind's harsh breeze sliced through the skin of a young male who was unfortunate enough to be within this field on this day. Weather was no issue to the boy known as Kensei, for he had purpose on his side. Training. Perfection. Improvement. The boy wanted more than anything to be better, and only he could will himself to work for it. Within this field, Kensei would become a stronger shinobi. He would not leave until he felt he had accomplished such a feat. His ninjutsu skill was his aim. He had always been a slacker when it came to ninjutsu, believing that one's own body is the only weapon worth training rigorously. However, should he have aspirations of surviving in this new world of shinobi, Kensei would have to adapt; and adapt he would. His tactics would be simple. He did not have much training, nor many skills with ninjutsu, and thus he'd have to master his own skills in order to become stronger. Practice made perfect, and Kensei intended on making perfect today. Kensei would ready himself first, spreading his feet shoulder-width apart. He'd raise his hands chest level, placing them together as he forms a set of handseals. Ram-Snake-Tiger. Shortly afterward, a doppleganger would appear next to Kensei. His form was somewhat similar to Kensei's, but it was not perfect. The clone seemed oddly transparent, which would not serve it's purpose if it's purpose was to fool an opponent. No, Kensei would have to improve if he had intentions of success. The clone would quickly dissipate, signaling Kensei that it was time to try once more. The young shinobi separated his feet again, as his hands made the necessary handseals to enact the jutsu. His eyes showed such fierce concentration, as he channeled chakra through his body in order to perform the technique to perfection. Again, a clone would appear next to the genin, Kensei. This time, the close seemed much more solid than the last, as solid as a regular clone could be that is. However, it still had dissimilarities in it's appearance. It's clothing was off, slightly altered from Kensei, the original. Kensei circled around the clone, inspecting it closely. It had to be better. No. It would be better, Kensei would make sure of that. He'd stand in front of the last clone, creating some distance between it and himself, as he'd prepare himself to create a new one. The same process, yet the results would be different this time around. Kensei would perform his handseals, his concentration this time much more intense. His control over his chakra was much more fluid than before. The clone would appear before the old one, allowing Kensei to compare the two. He had finally done it, this clone was as good as it could be. Kensei smiled in success, however, his body was drained from using so much of his chakra. Even though this jutsu was rudimentary, Kensei did not have very much control over his chakra. If he wanted to be a better shinobi, Kensei would also have to increase his skill in controlling his chakra. The young shinobi would make his way home, preparing to train again the next day. - - - is Worth More Than Tons of Preaching. |
