➤ POSITION REASONING: Inabi was the primary guardian and bodyguard for the Nidaime Raikage. She was also his most trusted adviser at the time of his death. She presented herself in a mature manner, despite her young age, and helped advise him in directions for the village during time of need. He believed that she was most suited for the position, and appointed her Sandaime Raikage prior to his death; predicting such outcomes. He saw the potential in both her leadership skills and battle prowess to protect and serve the village properly.
➤ POLITICAL STANDPOINT: Against or for war isn't for Inabi to say. Her main standpoint in the political world is to keep Kumogakure neutral for as long as she can stretch it out. Her main goal is to spread the empire of the Cloud Village, doing whatever is needed to receive her desired results. If that calls for backhanding a "friend", then so be it. She believes in the famous words, "the end justifies the means".
To her village, and most importantly, to the other village leaders, Inabi is a rather simple woman. She just cares for the protection and well nature of her village. She doesn't want any unneeded trouble for her village, but does fight for what she believe is right. ➤ APPEARANCE: By her appearance and that alone, Inabi can be noted as a very youthful and attractive woman. She believes that all woman in general should keep themselves in high maintenance. While she isn't exactly tall, she wouldn't classify herself as short either. She stands at a height of 5'8", which by woman standards, could be fairly natural.
Her body is highly remarkable, being very well treated for and taken care of. From her shoulders to her feet, the woman holds a perfect hourglass figure, which usually catches the eyes of any man that happen to place their eyes on it. She preaches that a woman's body is usually their strongest weapon outside of battle. She has long pink hair which falls back to the middle of her back, and has bright blue eyes to compliment it.
Finalizing her appearance would end with her attire. To keep it simple, she doesn't own outfits for specific occasions, she just wears what she wears to whatever she's wearing it to. However, don't confuse this with not caring for her outfit. The Raikage cares for what she wears, but she doesn't spend her time sorting certain outfits for just certain events. For example, she doesn't have a set outfit for training, and she doesn't have a set outfit for missions, nor does she have one for any other random thing, like strolling through the lands of Kumogakure.
Unlike the leaders that have taken the position before her, Inabi doesn't prefer to wear the typical Raikage garb as her main attire. The outfit consist of the customary hat and haori over a full-length gown, along with a simple yellow or goldenrod-colored headband. She only wears this during events that require her attendance as a representative of Kumogakure; like a Kage Summit, for example. Otherwise, she wears an outfit that better suits her liking. This consists of a white coat, buttoned from the middle, with no sleeves and a high collar. She wears pants which aren't sweats, but still allows her to move easily. Finally, she wears shinobi sandals and her forehead protector on her neck.
➤ PERSONALITY: The biggest and most vulnerable trait about Inabi is her paranoia. She has little to no trust for anyone. She believes that she is too grown and mature to fall for any tricks set by other people. She believes that everyone is exactly the same, and that they care for one thing: themselves. With that being the case, they would be willing to set up anyone they have to in order to raise to (or stay at) the top. She understands that everyone is out for power, and as far as she's concerned, no one is going to take her power away.
Inabi has a very vain personality, which makes her believe that everything about her is perfect. Naturally, this trait would classify the woman as a perfectionist. This sometimes makes her seem arrogant, however, it makes her strive for higher excellence. Although it might not always be noticed, she allows nothing that doesn't exceed or surpass her standards. Everything about her is either keeping up her reputation or appearance. This is especially true when presenting herself to the other shinobi villages. She feels her great battle prowess should be known throughout all shinobi villages.
A more common trait among all leaders, Inabi is very organized. She doesn't allow anything to get passed her without her knowing and consent. She doesn't let herself fall behind in anything that has her involvement, and she always plans her time perfectly. She is also very devoted. This is towards her work, her position as leader, and the goals she has set for life. This links with her slight stubbornness; once she gets an idea, it's pretty much written in stone, she's going to stick to it. Her devotion stretches to protecting and even soon expanding her village.
Most of her "dirty" work in done behind the scene. This leaves the people of her village to believe that she is a kind, loving leader, there for only their best interests. They couldn't be anymore wrong. Inabi cares little for the individuals in her village. The only thing she cares for is the village itself, her power over it, and her appearance. The only people who have managed to see her dark side are the people who work real close to her, like high positioned ANBU Operatives.
Although this is the case, she stills holds tight control over her village. She gives her people some freedom, but for the most part, they are trapped within. She leaves little room for opposition towards her, and at sight of anything rebellious, she sends in military forces. With how far her paranoia stretches, she doesn't play with her status or position as leader.
With that, it is safe to say that she is very power-hungry. Her long term goal is to completely take over the majority of the shinobi world. Sadly enough, she doesn't believe that her village's military force is strong enough for that just yet, which is the reason as to why she hasn't tried anything spectacular yet. This power hungry side of her is built from the style in which she has grown up. She believes that everyone is living in a pattern and in order to control that pattern, she must be in charge of everything. In terms of Kumogakure, she has even went as far as to create secret police in order to maintain her power within the people. They are her eyes and ears inside the village for when she can't be around like the ANBU Operatives.
One of her main focus in terms of her shinobi is military strength and battle intellect. In the academy, she has modified it's curriculum to where it teaches the basic of the shinobi world, along with other things that help future Kumogakure shinobi become strong and more powerful than that of the other villages. She absolutely hate lazy and fat people, unless they have managed to use such traits to help their battle strategies, then she praise them for creativity. But other than that, she believes that fat and lazy people will only cause a disruption to her military efforts, which will only lead to problems for her. She loves handling problems at the start, rather than when it's too late. She's also a big fan of sending people back to the academy if they don't meet her standards. She dislikes the idea of feeble shinobi in her village's military.
Despite having the looks of being the most caring person with the civilians of her village, the shinobi in her military, etc, there are multiple times when she feels she must influence them for her own personal, selfish needs. Inside Inabi's mind, lies a devious intellect that is always working, constantly thinking of ways to use not only her environment, but the people in it also. She truly believes that manipulation over everything and everyone around her is one of the most important points in being a great leader. She won’t hesitate to manipulate anything and anyone if it meant the further advancement of any of her goals; she will achieve the smallest of things through other people.
This tags along with her motto, "It's better to be feared than loved." She believes that if a leader is just loved, then they will get stepped over like a bug. That is unacceptable, and as such, she doesn't let it happen. Not once would she allow herself to show affection to a large body of shinobi. This includes her villagers, her shinobi, or even her fellow Kage. She wants Kumogakure to know that she is not there to be loved, but there to make progress in making Kumogakure the most powerful shinobi village in existence. She has a very strict zero tolerance law within herself, and she takes absolutely no bullshit when it comes to her subordinates. Things such as talking back, or defying orders, would lead to her personally making that person suffer; being a former ANBU, she tortures unimaginably well.
Ever since her first academy days, she was known to be exceedingly sharp, observant, and intuitive, as she's rarely caught off guard or deceived. This intelligence is also portrayed with the woman's immense foresight. Inabi can predict and label the outcome of anything with perfection. She can tell how someone's going to act, what someone would do in a certain situation, and even how a battle would end, without any biased views. This means that she wouldn't just call a battle in her favor, but she would analyze everything to a specific point, and make her decision afterwards; a battle trait that basically promoted her to the position of Raikage all by itself.
Inabi described herself as a woman with no fears. Not only is it her personal beliefs, but it's true. The Raikage has very high and impressive mental stability, along with high mental strength. She's feared within the village just because of this fearlessness. She's a kunoichi with no limits to how high her stability can increase. A woman able to stare a bijuu in it's face, without flinching one little bit. Because of this stability, or as her people call it, craziness, Inabi doesn't believe in the emotions fear and helplessness. She won't stop until her goals are archived, or she is laying on the ground dead. While she would risk her life for the pathetic excuses for shinobi in the village, she can admit that she would put personal needs and goals before that.
➤ BACKGROUND: 多分人生ではありません
Maybe Life Isn't... Unlike the majority of people in the Cloud Village, Inabi wasn't born inside the village. Actually, she wasn't born in a village at all, but instead in the outside land of a minor village around the world. Her mother and father weren't married, and they weren't together either. In actuality, one could say that her birth was actually a mistake and wasn't planned to happen. Despite this being the case, however, her mother still calls her a gift from Heaven.
The night that Kiyoshi became pregnant was the last day she ever heard from the man that impregnated her. Sadly, because it was a one night stand, Inabi was never capable of meeting her biological father. Her mother never bothered to bring it up to the girl, not because she didn't know, but because she didn't want to bother her into thinking that her father didn't want her, or worst - that there was a chance that she could even go and find him.
Around a young age, it was apparent to Kiyoshi that Inabi possessed some sort of higher intellectual capabilities than most child. Besides the fact that she seemed to have been born with an outstanding memory, she picked up on things faster than she thought was possible. Around the age of five, Kiyoshi noticed the girl's interest in what she did for a living: healing and medical responsibilities. With that being the case, she began to develop her in order to shape her into a young medic. Of course, given her young age, she knew that there was only so much that she could really achieve.
Throughout the years of her living, Inabi has met a lot of different guys to have come in and out of her and her mother's residence. She never really understood at first, but after awhile, she began to understand exactly what was going on between her mother and the different guys every other day. She always knew that she didn't have a father there with her, and she didn't count on ever getting one that would stay put. But there was one incident where it looked as though such a dream could come true. While still on the road with her mother, she met one guy who actually stayed longer than a few hours. He even treated Inabi liked his own daughter, but a few months later, Kiyoshi and him broke connections.
At the age of seven, the child started to really understand what the shinobi world was going to be. There were no more time for fairy tales, and folk tales, of the good life of a shinobi. The two things gained from being a shinobi was death or honor. If you were ever so lucky, both might be your ending results. This was about the time that Inabi started showing off intelligence during her training sessions that completely outmatched anything Kiyoshi has ever seen. She couldn't help but be interested, so she administered her daughter an IQ test that normally tested kids in their teens. When Inabi scored over one hundred fifty, Kiyoshi knew that she could begin precocious sessions.
Nearing the age of eight, the child and her mother returned to their home village. It wasn't the first time that she had been in the village, since she and her mother returned twice before during her life, but this was the first time that she was positive that she was going to settle down inside, be capable of making new friends. Her mother also enlisted her into the Ninja Academy. The girl's intelligence and diligence proved noteworthy, as she was capable of learning and mastering the material of the academy in less timing than most. Without even a full year of participation, she was capable of surpassing that of her entire class, and graduated early at the age of eight. She was given her headband and was placed on a squadron with two other genin.
Unlike what her mother first believed, Inabi didn't proceed into the arts of medical ninjutsu. After being placed on her squad, she continued on the basis of chakra control that she acquired from her mother, and used it to further a style that she became even more interested in: kenjutsu. Her sensei was a jounin-level shinobi of the Hidden Clouds, and he mastered the art, and after witnessing him once in combat, she fell in love.
They completed mission after mission with each other, and Inabi even completed a few missions on her own. The more vigorous mission that she can remember from her time with her team would be a c-rank mission that was falsely ranked by the requester. They didn't need to travel anywhere outside of Hi no Kuni, but what the man didn't seem to mention was that there were high level bandits scattered around the area where the supplies were found. In truth, it should have been a B-Rank mission, something totally out of the hands for a rookie genin squad. In the process, the team lost one of its members.
After that, the team was a little dysfunctional for awhile. With this, they were given a little bit of recovery time to adapt to the death of a teammate, but such a period of time wouldn't last too long. Almost a week later, Inabi's sensei instructed the group that they would receive a replacement for the team. They argued that they couldn't just replace their old teammate, but he didn't seem like he cared. They had to learn as a task force group, they needed to learn to let go of ties. So in the end, even if not willingly, they accepted the new shinobi to the group.
Obviously, there was some tension. Inabi didn't really like the fact that they were given just a week to get over the death of their first teammate, and her other teammate must have felt the same thing. The newbie to the team sensed the animosity he was receiving and immediately reported to the sensei that he didn't feel as though he could cooperate with a squad that resented his joining so much. Their leader called for a team meeting where he would discuss the importance of being on a team and getting along with one another. He tried to stress how much stronger they would be if they worked together.
