The hour just before dawn was her favorite time to be out, free from the noise and hustle and bustle of village life. It was also an opportune time to leave the village on illicit business, not that that was ever her stated reason for going anywhere. It was either an emergency mission or a trip to get something the village didn't have or something of the sort. Thankfully, due to her husband's recent hospitalization, it was even easier for the jonin to sneak around and take care of business. She still was not entirely sure what had happened to him, but she didn't particularly care either. Masumi held no love, nor even the most basic affection, or any sort of liking at all for the man she had married. Their marriage had been for political gain and nothing more; the elders of her dying clan had desired to marry their leader off to an affluent and powerful man, and who better than the Tsuchikage himself? Of course, the Tsubasa elders were more than willing to force Chinatsu into the marriage to have one of the village's strongest and most well-reputed jonin join their clan, if by name only. And, of course, they wanted children out of the arrangement - which they would get, though they had not created this child out of a desire to have one. It had been an accident, one that she wished to correct but that he would not let her. Casting a glance down at her slightly rounded stomach, which had been flat and toned only two months prior, she sighed. Children were worthless, and spending nine months with one in her stomach was a waste of time. But, unfortunately, she was stuck with it. The things that people would do for power or wealth were unlimited, and she knew that well. She was one of the few that did not let pesky things such as morals to get in the way of her research, or let standards or laws define her behavior. Masumi did what she wanted for her own purposes in order for personal gain, and little more than that. On the surface she was a polite but distant woman, absorbed in study and research, a loving wife to the people's beloved Tsuchikage, and the first person to put her life at risk for the good of the village. In practice she was none of those but absorbed in study, and the research she conducted was of an unsavory and illegal sort, unbeknownst to anyone but her husband, and even he did not know the extent of it. He was a fool for not probing too deeply into her affairs. He had forbade her from experimenting on human beings, ordered her not to delve into the atrocities his first wife - the Nidaime Tsuchikage - had performed. And she had acted as if she respected his wishes and would obey. Such a fool he was. And now that he was out of the way - for a while, at least - she was free to do whatever she wished. At the first opportunity, she had contacted two rogue shinobi from Konoha that she believed would be able to aid her in her research, and they had agreed to meet with her at a remote location in Tsuchi no Kuni, where they would not be seen nor heard. They would strike a deal, money and resources in return for research and test subjects from outside the village. It would be a wonderful partnership indeed. All the same, there were some... necessary precautions she had to take in order to ensure her own safety. Thus, she was arriving at the location several hours before they were supposed to meet, and she was setting up... One could call it a trap of sorts, but they would be incorrect. It was a mere barrier, and nothing more than that. It would serve as protection and that was all. Unfortunately, it was quite taxing on her reserves - that being the reason she had a chakra restoration pill tucked away in a pocket - but all the same, it was necessary. She set up the technique in the widest range possible, with a square kilometer of space being enclosed within the barrier, and with a few simple hand signs the technique began to activate. It would be a while yet before it would take effect, but that was alright. She perched in a tree near where they were supposed to meet, and began to meditate. When the rogues arrived, they would either cut a deal... Or neither of them would leave this clearing alive. words 805 tags orie, zanji notes 805 total placed 4 sunao no kekkai tags used sunao no kekkai [-63%] chakra reserves: 37% than live life on my knees |

Post by Zanji Uzumaki on Oct 25, 2013 3:59:24 GMT -5
Zanji lay within his secret laboratory within the outskirts of the land of Earth's on the border between that and the land of winds side of Amegakure about one hundred miles away from the meeting point. He stood in his operating room washing up his hands. He stood n a old abandoned and partially destroyed hospital. the walls lay in shambles and the building was not that sterile except for this room. Zanji sterilized this room for one simple purpose do do a little experimenting. The body on the table twitched and a sound of a groan escaped fro the body. His current where about's where currently unknown since most of the shinobi in the leave thought he was dead. After all he had given quite the performance and gave them a most convincing perfectly body of a human that had been surgically altered to look exactly like him down to the last detail. He even got rid of marks or traces of surgery on the body before hand.
The body twitched once again and stirred some more as Zanji put on some plastic rubber gloves on his hands. He then smiled and put on a surgical mask and Continued to hum slowly as he walked over to the operating table. He hummed inside his throat as he brought his fingers over the tray of medical instruments each finger caressing the instruments one at a time. He smiled as he grabbed a surgical mask and put it on. He reached for a needle filled with morphine just barely borderline of a lethal dose. the man on the table whimpered and tried to run away but he lay strapped to the table by his arms and legs and head. Zanji walked up to the man slowly and flicked the syringe to knock out any air bubble in the syringe he didn't want his patient to die just yet oh no he wanted to explore his insides first then when he was finished with him then he would allow the shinobi to die.
Zanji smiled underneath his mask as he held the needle up to the mans neck that was on the table. The tip of it just barely piercing the skin as he slowly stuck it in and pushed the plunger in injecting the man with the morphine. He slowly pulled the needle out of the mans neck and ceased his humming for the time being. This man was not going to go anywhere anytime soon. He was unsure if this shinobi had any special kekkai genkai or not but he would find out soon enough. He had removed the shinobi of all his personal items and anything else that might help him. Today was starting outta be a very fortuitous first he received a letter from the wife of the Tsuchikage who was interested in his special medical skills and wanted a meeting with him. And know he had a new toy to play with. He referred to people on the operating table as toys because that's all they were to him know things to play with break apart and reassemble. He sighed and grabbed a secondary needle and opened the eye lid of the man and slowly began to descend the needle to the center of the eye. As he was mere inches away from the eye he smiled and whispered into the man on the tables ear in a soothing voice "Don't worry I'm a doctor."
Zanji then plunged the needle filled with anesthesia and plunged the liquid into the mans circulatory system. He slowly pulled the needle out and watched as the man's eye lids fluttered and slowly drooped and shut themselves as the anesthesia worked its magic. He tossed the needles into a rubbish bin and smiled as he heard them land inside the bucket. He rubbed his hands together inside his mind and began to pace around the operating table slowly. He made the hand seal for the shadow clone jutsu. Immediately in a puff of smoke a perfect clone of zanji appeared wearing exactly the same clothing and same items he had on him. The clone slowly took off the gloves and smiled as he looked at the original zanji. The original zanji cracked his neck on his left and right and brought his attention to the clone. "Your to go to the meeting and strike a deal with this women give them my regards that i was unable to attend in person, And do not cause any problems you know what is at stake here should you fail." The clone bent down on one knee and nodded his head and quickly ran out of the room and out towards the exit of the building.
The original Zanji turned and brought his attention back to the sleeping man on the table. He slowly reached out and grabbed a scalpel and began to cut into the mans chest slowly and delicately yet almost in a art form. The clone Zanji ran through the the area heading for the designated rendezvous point for the meeting. By the time he had left he would arrive at the meeting right on time since he left a few days early. He was not going to risk sending his original self to a meeting with a ninja from a foreign nation especially since he had that bounty still on his head. Many hours later he arrived at the meeting. Sure enough there was the women described in the letter his clone walked out behind a boulder and gave a polite bow as he was the first to arrive. "Its a pleasure to meet you Lady Masumi." Zanjis clone looked around and noticed the tags along the area and smirked at Masumi and said "Most unwise of you not tomake any precautions your either not very confident in your abilities or very trusting of your new possible business partners. But it's futile I have no intention of harming a alley and especially one that is pregnant." Zanji's clone slowly walked back and forth in front of masumi his thoughts were one of curiosity and anxiety. He may be a clone at the moment but he was not going to take any chances for the real zanji.

Post by Umeda Orie on Oct 25, 2013 19:57:41 GMT -5
Orie has been away from the world for a good long time, her days as a shinobi alone were quite numbered in retrospect to the uproar she caused in Konoha four years ago. Maybe her tales were still spoken, the rage of snakes that tormented the village from her departure. Who all died at that time was still questionable to her however; nonetheless, she did what she could with what she had to begin with. It was the undoubted truths that served this field of vision and as she truly had no real wish to be steady or true to the beliefs of the outside world, she still consistently liked to hear what news there was of it. So maybe that is why she was contacted by an unorthodox way to meet someone. Her own ideology was steadily small in comparison while her will to live was definitely high on her list, she would only assume detail for a few small key facts. She after all, preferred to deal with things in the same unorthodox way. Her own mental strain was that which compared and contrasted itself to the knowing and knowledgeable state of uncertainty when it came to dealing with anyone she was unfamiliar with in this life.
It was common for those who tried to assassinate her, it was a subtle thing though as no one could quite likely assimilate themselves high enough to attack and kill her. Granted she would only assume so much out of her own use while she would pop her neck and move through this landscape with a calm discerned. It was useful to her, a calm collection to her mental use while she would move with a special dignity about herself with a move of her legs and arms as her eyes would look mobile with a calm selection to her eyes. She had already looked out from the cave she was residing in at the time; it was a simple cave with the calmness of living while she would cloth herself in the ordinary clothes of her own subtle belief. Her red hair bright even in this night while her body was clothed in a dark black attire of a robe. The robe being like a monk’s while she would move out from this range and collective mental strain. Putting the large scroll of snakes on her back, she would now move out.
It was a selection of places that this place led her to the place she was in now, her own knowledge being what assimilated who she was now. Her movements carrying her forwards, as she would only know so much of this woman who called a meeting. She even heard that another rogue from Konoha would be there. It was amazing to hear that so many individuals of Konoha were going to be in one place, and from Orie’s own knowledge, she had a bounty on her head as tall as a mountain. That only told her that she would be a prime target for hunters and Konoha alike. It was only going to promote more danger with her around. That much was for certain and she knew she would have to provide a good defensive if she were going to be caught in this as an enemy of the entirety. It would only prove so much worth with this availing danger coming to her own mental strain and dangers. It was common for her to understand and ultimately follow through a dangerous encounter, as she all knew what was at stake if she were to die here and now.
This was going to be a highly possible deadly encounter however, for Orie she had to understand that the opponents at hand were nonetheless rogue in their natures for meeting her like this. It was going to be something she had to understand to the highest regard. Orie moved through the area, her eyes looking around and when she was in a proper spot, all around her rock as it was, a mile from the meeting place, she would look to the sky and blink, “So will today be the day I die?” It was a common ground question she had while in its own nature she would only admirably understand the counter balance of what she could or could not do in this regard. Clothed as she was, it was noticeably something that one whom is in mourning would wear however Orie could only understand so much with her own regards of knowledgeable intellect. It was how she lived her life though, her eyes looking forwards as she moved through the fields of time itself as her body would come in range on time, her feet moving her forwards as she looked around this grouping that was forming, her eyes on the two of them as she would watch them closely.
It was at the same moment when she heard the word pregnant from a masculine voice that her eyes sought out and spotted these two individuals. Her eyes watching them, as she would move with a dignified grace as she analyzed these two. “So we have another rogue of Konoha and an Iwa ninja here, who do I have the pleasure of meeting?” She played it with grace, calmness to her voice while nonetheless keeping her senses in full swing while her body moved about with a calm certainty in grace and effective mentality. She knew only so much of her own self in this form. It was the only things she could understand in her life while her tongue licked her lips, moistening them from the oncoming heat of the day. Her eyes looked at the two and wondered just who these two were in their own forms. She knew little to nothing of the outside world after all. “It has been four years since I have been out in the ninja world, what is so important to drag me out of hiding into this plane I wonder?” Her ears and eyes watchful, her notice of her surrounding kept her alive, as they were in full swing now to stay on the defensive.

As one might expect, individuals with large bounties on their heads had a good reason to hide out and be suspicious of anyone that looked hard enough to find them. For all they knew, she could have invited them here to ambush them with a squad of shinobi in order to collect on both their bounties. Thus, they had been wary of her intentions - and it was wise of them to be, as the woman had no qualms with double-crossing anyone, whether they were considered her ally or not - and only through a lot of coaxing and promise of a worthwhile reward had she gotten the mad scientist and the snake sage to emerge from hiding and agree to join her here for what would hopefully be the beginning of a fruitful partnership. However, she did not assume that they would come in peace - far from it, as a matter of fact. As a matter of her own safety, she had to assume that they would come prepared to kill her if she so much as looked at them wrong, and prepare accordingly. Thus the erection of the barrier; once it came into effect, no one within its confines but the woman herself would be able to use force. The others would feel compelled, if not exactly to be nice, to be peaceful, and that was a huge advantage to her. Luckily, they wouldn't know anything about her skill in juinjutsu - to be honest, she doubted they had even heard of her at all, being that she generally tried to keep herself out of the spotlight - but if they had heard of her, they would know her as a fox summoner or a swift runner. There were some skills that one did not make public, and the ability to control a person's mind with a few hand seals and a touch was one of those skills. "A pleasure to meet you as well, Uzumaki-san." Impassive violet eyes watched the man emerge from behind the rock, and she dipped her head politely in greeting. She kept her voice level but quiet, and betrayed no true emotion with her expression. However, she did not want him to see her as the coldly rational individual that she was, the shinobi who knew how to cut a deal and get what she wanted. Masumi wanted the mad doctor, and the sage as well, to see her as... vulnerable. Perhaps gullible. A woman with an eager interest in matters she shouldn't have an interest in. Someone that was, in reality, little to no threat to their well-being. Basically the exact opposite of what she truly was. Thus, she had attempted to change her appearance in ways that would make her seem more like this personality she wished to display. Instead of her usual professional dress, with the symbols of Iwagakure and her clan stitched onto the back, she had purchased something specifically for this encounter: a clingy peach-pink top that made the roundness of her stomach more apparent, a charcoal gray light jacket to cover her arms, and black pants. Not only did it make her pregnancy very apparent, but this combination of colors was supposed to imply a certain submissiveness that she normally did not display. Likely it would appeal to the doctor more so than the sage. She was the tricky one to please, and Masumi could only hope that the woman believed her ruse. Her lips curled into a small smile as he noted the apparent lack of any precautions taken. If only he knew. She had not even considered revealing to him that she was more protected than he thought; if he was foolish enough to believe that she would leave herself open to attack, then let him be a fool. "I'm glad you do not have any intention of attacking me. If one of Iwagakure's most prominent and well-liked jonin was attacked or killed, I do not believe the village would rest until the attacker was killed." It was a very thinly veiled threat, and a reminder; Masumi had an entire shinobi village on her side if she wanted them, while the doctor was nothing more than a single man with perhaps a few scattered allies, but certainly nothing that could stand up to one of the Five Great Nations. "But I doubt you would risk your life to kill me when you have so much more to gain from being my ally." She then fell into silence, and watched him pace until the snake sage arrived. "I'm glad you decided to join us after all, Umeda-san. I was beginning to think you had reconsidered my offer and found it to not be worth your time." Masumi descended from the tree she had been resting in and offered the woman a polite bow. "Tsubasa Masumi, at your service." She would leave it to the doctor to introduce himself, if need be. Certainly this was going to be an interesting encounter after all. She had not been aware that the woman had sequestered herself completely from society for the past four years, but the revelation did not come as a shock. No wonder it had been so difficult to find her. "You see, I have a proposition for the two of you..." Figuring that she might as well get right to the point and not attempt to waste time on pleasantries, Masumi spoke of the reason she had invited them both here, which she had not been willing to commit to writing in case any of her messages had been intercepted. "How would the two of you like to aid me in the creation of a seal that could force a person's body to new levels of power?" Perhaps it would make little sense to them at first, but she was sure that they would bite. words 997 tags orie, zanji notes 1802 total one post until barrier activation / constant low chakra consumption chakra reserves: 37% than live life on my knees |

The clone Zanji smiled as Masumi greeted him properly and with proper etiquette no less. This was a little bit of a surprise to him since he was a rouge but it was a nice reminder that he would receive such pleasantries. Though he sure she was just reacting out of habit and not out of pleasantries. He would keep his distance though he may be a clone but he was not going to take any chances. He was in enemy territory and one slip up and it would cost him a chance at forming a much wanted alliance and a chance to continue research of a very old project he wanted to begin. Before his untimely discovery of his little misdeeds and other experimentation's where found out by that detestable third Hokage. He had it set in his mind that the third Hokage was just afraid of progress that's why he branded him a rouge ninja.
He nodded his head politely after she had greeted him and cracked his toes insides his sandals slowly. He was very eager to get this meeting over with but he would have to wait for the third member of the party to arrive in the meeting. He knew about her and her special talents while he was still in the leaf village. During her rampage from four years ago he was still a chunin but he was still extremely gifted with medical ninjutsu. He had a rather difficult time with the injured that she had done to the village back when he still had love for it. He quickly turned as he heard approaching foot steps. His knuckles cracked in his hand excitedly as the final guest had arrived for the meeting. He bowed his head after she finished speaking and slowly raised it respectfully. "It is a honor to meet the snake sage I have wanted to meet you or quite sometime." Zanji moved his hand through the front part of his hair and adjusted a few stray threads and smiled and placed his hand back at his side.
He slowly brought his hands together and gave another polite bow to the snake sage and smiled wider. "I must give you a personal thank you your outburst four years ago inspired me to create my very own special ninjutsu and I must say the way you killed your victims very exquisitely, My name is Zanji Uzumaki." He slowly turned and now faced the women from Iwagakure his interest was being peaked very highly now as she spoke of her plans. His right hand lay behind his back and clenched with anger as she spoke of her plan. Her plan was something something extremely close to what he had been wanting to do but lacked the necessary. His right hand trembled slightly as his fingers dug into the skin as she had very lightly given him a threat should he kill her. He could not afford to have the stone village on him now especially since in Iwagakure lay one of the key ingredients to begin his long awaited project to fruition. He ceased his trembling right hand and slowly brought it to his chin and rested his chin upon his fingers. He stood silent watching the women carefully calculating what the risks that will take place and especially the risk of betrayal,
The women's offer was very tempting to take to tempting. He had to make sure his safety was guaranteed. That was top priority and then second his demands were met with all of them. He smiled and took away his finger from his chin and took a few steps back and rested against the rock. His posture stood relaxed but very confident. He crossed his arms and brought them to his chest and looked at the women. "Your request intrigues me Lady Masumi it sounds like something i have been working on almost identical. But there is one difference my Juinjutsu will need to require a few different things but it will give the same results no doubt." The clone stretched his legs as he stood straight up. "I will require something from you to show that you mean what you say a token of good faith I require the body of the second Tsuchikage or at the very least lots of DNA samples from her body, It is imperative that I receive these, if you try to give me false sample from her body I will know." He stood now his composure changing drastically from his carefree self to something much darker and sinister. Each word he meant he meant with the absolute authority and conviction. He took a deep breath and narrowed his eyes and continued to look as Masumi.
"That demand is Non negotiable, secondly I will require a place of safety to conduct these experiments somewhere where I am guaranteed safety and privacy as well as a place for Lady Orie, I will not risk my life carelessly, Nor will I risk the safety of lady Orie she is very imperative for this to work." The clone Zanji now turned his head and looked at Orie his demeanor slowly changing to a lighter side. "Lady Orie is there any place you know of that would suit my second demand I value your input after all we may be working together should we all decide to form this little alliance of Masumi's. I can think of only one or two places that would suit my demands somewhere I'm sure your very familiar with. A place revered in name as mt. myoboku I speak of Ryūchi Cave!" The clone Zanji smiled and curled his lip in satisfaction at mentioning Ryūchi Cave. That place had long been a place he longed to explore but he could not find it. It was infuriating to him but he planned to go there someday and learn about the sage arts. He turned his head towards masumi and turned his head to the side. "Just one last thing my lady If this is all some elaborate trap to lure me out of hiding and you wished to collect my bounty I'm sorry to say it won't work since I'm not truly hear I'm just a humble shadow clone my real self sends his apologies that he could not attend he had some other pressing business at hand to deal with."
