Description:

The user preforms an Iai Strike quickly enough to cleave the air itself. This causes a shockwave to emanate from the origin of the swing, knocking aside small projectiles such as kunai or shuriken. The shockwave is five feet across and a foot thick. An Iaido specialist is capable of preforming this technique in rapid succession, up to five times in a single series depending on their skill.

Description:

Although not a true technique, the older samurai has vast experience when it comes to battle. By concentrating on a single target, they are capable of intuitively sensing weakpoints in both the enemy's body and equipment, causing their weapons to be considered to have [+1 Strength] when using this attack. If the user's weapon strength is one rank above the target's endurance, their weapon will show significant damage. If the user's weapon strength is two ranks above the target's endurance, their weapon will be cleaved in two. If the user's weapon strength is three or more ranks above the target's endurance, this attack is capable of cleaving through the target's weapon and still retain enough force to follow through on the sword stroke to attack the enemy.

Description:

By closing their eyes and focusing for a short time, the user is capable of opening their mind's eye as though they were a pseudo-sensor, allowing them to gain a detailed understanding of their surroundings, oncoming danger, and the people around them, even in pitch darkness within [15 feet]. However, as this is not true sensory perception, the user is still incapable of locating the enemy if their location or presence is supernaturally masked, such as using a jutsu to hide ten feet underground. It also does not let them see, take note of, or identify chakra.

It can allow the user to notice that they've been trapped in a Genjutsu of equal or lower rank, but does not help them dispel it.

Description:

An experienced Samurai is capable of channeling their bloodlust into a single, sharp look. While there is no effect of this, a lesser person will often succumb to the sensation of the user's bloodlust to put the fear of death into the target. Someone of equal or higher rank is unaffected. Someone that is a single overall rank lower than the user will feel only a moment's hesitation before the sensation passes. At two ranks lower, the victim will involuntarily shudder, interrupting any physical action they may be taking. At three or more ranks lower, the victim may experience a sensation of immediate death, as if they'd just been stabbed through the throat or some similar injury. No physical damage is inflicted at any stage. This can only work once per target per encounter, as it relies on both surprise and anxiety to be effective.

Description:

The user assumes the common Iaido stance and leaps high into the air, allowing gravity to pull them down and add force to their next strike. Once the sword comes into contact with mass, it parts the target, cleaving a large wound into the target up to [10m] in length. This particular technique is ineffective against small targets, making it almost solely an attack for taking down large game such as a Major Summon or even cutting down a structure. The depth of the wound created depends on the target's endurance vs the user's Iaijutsu skill.
