Mental &Physical BEFORE MY EYES YOU STILL DON'T STOP! ► Appearance while short and skinny, the woman is often underestimated in her skills and abilities. smaller than a majority of her comrades of the cloud she often proves more capable than others by her side. blonde hair always frames her seemingly uninterested face, blue eyes often staring off into the distance and imagining greater things. her body, when found in ANBU attire, is decorated with black trousers, a grey vest, and her hair messily tied up with her face hidden by a mask. she carries no large weapons with her, simply due to the fact that her style requires a mix of ninjutsu and taijutsu. when under the alias makota, she dresses in similar pants, though more casual and akin to sweatpants, along with various tees of her choice. while the woman has the clothing to dress up and look nice whenever she desires, she prefers a more casual clothing choice. though, even when simply meandering around the village, she still carries around kunai and shuriken, some held in the weapon pouch attached to her hip. ► Mental Assessment keiko seems to have lost the light in her life long ago, yet still strives for an unknown goal. she remains overly aloof towards many including her own comrades. the village still sees her as a enigma, and even those who work with her on a daily basis and fight by her side often get very little view into who she really is. she deals with a dark veil, only illuminated in the heat of battle when her concentration drops and sprinkles of true identity leaks. while she finds hospice in solitude and peace, keiko used to be an incredible troublemaker in the desire to do anything for attention. it brought her happiness that she could bring chaos, yet with age came sudden numbness. her apartment is dull, blank walls aside from a single north-facing wall, decorated with multiple books, none of which collecting dust. her mind is full of knowledge from history scrolls and jutsu scrolls. intrigued by the darker arts and forbidden jutsus, keiko has stopped herself for the sake of her sanity and her own village from partaking in learning such techniques. keiko is well versed in her own dark nature, and because of it, she tiptoes on a narrow line mentally for stability. in her own solitude her mind wanders, but doesn't it always? it's why she emerses herself in scrolls and other readings - histories, mission logs, or anything she could get her hands on in an attempt to throw her mind into another reality. around groups, she's equally as unsocial, remaining silent unless she needs to talk. while this woman is quiet, she has no hesitation or regret. her words are as fast as her moves, her tongue sharp. wit comes easily to the girl, but unfortunately so does being overly blunt. truth hurts, keiko is aware, and she'll easily use that fact to her advantage. barking orders is no problem, neither is taking them, but every now and then a word might slip that could easily get her in trouble for defying her leaders, which makes officials throw her in a leadership position or solo missions in an attempt to avoid conflict. her silence also leaves plenty of room for gossip. while her expressions generally show complete disinterest, it's quite common for keiko to overhear a conversation and store the information for later. a bad habit, eavesdropping, but one that she's had a horrible time breaking. it works well when in enemy territory, of course, but that's about the only time it becomes useful. silence could easily be mistaken for shyness or weakness, yet neither truly apply to keiko. the woman can talk if she finds the need to, and has no problem being thrown in a crowd and forced to make friends. though she may not reveal her true self to someone, she can still be hospitable and social if the situation required it. weakness, though, can easily be assumed, yet with keiko's mix of ninjutsu and taijutsu, few will make that claim twice. in fact, keiko has an awful habit of refusing to analyze a situation before running into it, especially if led by her emotions. the thin line she walks mentally is easily moved with strong emotion, generally rooted in her past and various secrets. this is perhaps the only time keiko cannot help but show weakness, but it happens to everyone. ► Background Information it's a tough time to be alive three years | the word bijuu floats around. keiko's not sure if it's a curse or a prayer, but she's too young to understand anyway. her parents are curious, the idea of tailed beasts are new. they claim they're for the greater good, for the sake of the village. capture one and you can capture the world. but she's too young. five years | the tale of the jinchuuriki arrives in the household. keiko is old enough to know, but people know the destructive power of the bijuu now. locking them inside a human, it's difficult, they say. keiko's parents had left to attempt to hunt one down with the rest of their cloud comrades, only to witness its power. the young girl remains with her grandmother, one wise in her years. keiko can't help but say that she wants to be a jinchuuriki when she grows up, and her grandmother swears and makes keiko promise she'll never say that in front of her parents. she promises, but she's young and she doesn't understand a promise. when her parents return home from the search, keiko exclaims the same thing to them, claiming she wants to be powerful and do good in the world. her father beats her for it, leaving her with bruises and cuts. he makes her swear that she'll never want to be a jinchuuriki. those people are cursed, he says, and don't you dare ever aspire to be one. seven years | her parents aren't home much, and keiko has time to let her thoughts wander. she begins to read what knowledge is held of the tailed beasts - it's not much, but it's fantastic. the idea of such power, keiko cannot help but spew her new learned knowledge to her grandmother, who while desiring to coddling her, had to punish her for such interest. her parents, her grandmother says, are on missions to capture the bijuu and lock them inside a jinchuuriki. they know their power, they know how dangerous they are, and how could they ever desire their daughter to be burdened with such uncontrollable power. but it seemed youth was not wasted on keiko, and she rebelled, continuing her studies and, almost evilly, declared to her grandmother that she would become a jinchuuriki some day. she would change the world, but the words did not comfort anyone but herself. when her parents are finally home after long missions that take months and months of travelling to different lands, she persists still. her mother ignores her while her father beats her. too much ambition, he says, too much selfishness. ten years | while her parents and even grandparents are very hesitant with keiko becoming a shinobi due to her childhood ambitions, they throw her in the academy. they claim it'll keep her in line, and the jonin who run the academy will make sure she doesn't get into anything. even when she's out of school, she's brought directly home under the supervision of her grandmother. signs have shown up over the years, signs of perhaps evil drive, as her grandmother called it, to become something bigger. while her grandmother sleeps or is distracted, keiko escapes and runs off to train new genin-level techniques. when she returns hom she is beaten by an elderly grandmother who can't keep up this abuse anymore, but is under orders of her son. the cycle continues. it's a violent one. when her parents are home, her father beats her while her mother turns a blind eye. when her parents are gone, her grandmother beats her until her joints begin to ache or keiko screams for it to stop. she can only moderately understand why her family beats and abuses her - and her grandmother often rambles it's because she's stupid and doesn't know any better. a jinchuuriki that can change the world? all the bijuu are used for is weapons, she hisses. don't play dumb. and the beatings continue. her family's resentment towards her has turned even towards mundane things. if her room is messy, she is beaten. if she messes up, she is beaten. and she begins to believe she deserves it. quit being so stupid, she tells herself. it does nothing for you. twelve years | she's stopped sneaking out of the house, she's stopped rebelling against her family. the beatings have stopped, but her family still gives her little attention. she's proper now - makes little mistakes in the presence of her parents and grandmother, and it's possible the stockholm syndrome has begun to kick in. up until now, she didn't realize she had a problem, but it was beaten into her that she was an idiot, a monstrosity beginning to walk down the wrong road. it's clear now. the academy no longer treats her like a stranger when she comes to class all bruised. she had always claimed it was the training, but the instructor simply looked at her and shook his head. while she has no need for excuses anymore, she doesn't really talk unless spoken to, as if it is a taboo to get beaten. previously such a talk of the town with her bruises and cuts, everyone suddenly ignores her the way she ignores everyone else. upon returning home from the academy one day with her parents gone, she comes home to a deceased grandmother, still rocking in her rocking chair. there was no response, not a single tear shed or a tremble of the lips. she simply called authorities to remove the body and do whatever they pleased. keiko did not care. it almost felt like revenge for the girl, and while she was suddenly free from part of her abusive family, she didn't feel it. only the restraining leash from her parents, even countries away. it made her train more, and for days she would sleep very little as long as it meant training as much as she could. the first chance to truly become a shinobi seemed inspiring, yet she knew her parents would probably look down upon her. they hadn't planned on her getting very far, perhaps throwing her in the academy and beating her in an attempt to give up her ambition. it fueled her, actually, and she progressed into the shinobi world as a genin with her parents a world away. seventeen years | years have passed since her graduation, and becoming a chunin in her parent's absense was easy enough. even without a bijuu within her, keiko has become strong, perhaps as strong as she had dreamt to be what felt like a lifetime ago. no one raises a hand to her, and even when her parents are home, they simply curse and spit. keiko finds herself returning the favor, building up energy from years of needed revenge. it'd be too messy, though. plus her parents are stronger, it'd take a lot more force to bring them down. but she sits and quietly plots. while training, a stranger appears to her, and dangles in front of her great power. you could master lightning, he says, and he sparks something inside her. she doesn't even know his name but she follows him, drawn to the eerie power she can almost sense radiating from him. there are experiments somewhere she has no idea the name of. if left by herself, she most likely couldn't find her way home. so she stays and lays on the table while syringes are stabbed into her blood vessels and her body reacts violently to some of them. they're close, but the final step is a tattoo on her shoulder, later covered with bandages. when the last syringe goes in, a violent shock takes over the room, black lightning shooting in multiple directions, heating up the room. lights go out and the man hides, yet keiko cannot seem to control it. only when the pain subsides and she can move again does the lightning retract. and like static shock, her skin is electric momentarily. the man is pleased, his own experiments have gone according to plan, but now only to control the weapon. mith much power came much training. eighteen years | after the experiment, after the tattoo has healed, and after kumokagure attempts to seal the nine-tails, keiko hears word that her parents are missing. killed in action, they say, she she spits. there's no need for them to die like shinobi, she'd say to anyone who brought it up. they should have died like the scum they were. neglecting and abusive parents, one she couldn't even take out on her own. but that's okay, one day she'll show them, and reign in a bijuu by herself, or at least prove to become a decent human being. only to prove them wrong will she somewhat follow in their footsteps. she has no idea how long it's been, but black lightning comes at her every calling, and hides when she desires it. the tattoo on her shoulder remains sore, though she cases the entire arm in bandages as her own little secret. her secret was only shared with one man - the third raikage. curiosity got the better of him when she revealed the tatto and her abilities. a proficient lightning user such as himself desired the power, and the two cut a bargain. while the black lightning had been an experiment on her, she swore she could instruct others to use it. the change in her chakra explained that to her. and thus, she would be placed as an ANBU operative, given a pseudonym to keep her identity secret. it worked out quite well, and by the time the woman grew to twenty, she felt as though life had truly begun.

i apologize because this is probably horribly done. but, finished.

You did very well for the first go round! Just a few minor things that need to be taken care of:

1. Mixing her elemental manipulation with shunshin wouldn't necessarily work. If anything, you could say that she channels Raiton through her muscles and nervous system to increase reflexes and speed. However, that infringes far too closely to Raiton no Yoroi (Lightning Armor), so I'm gonna have to ask you to take that out. Second option is that you can make a Shunshin variant where lightning is produced to hide movement, etc. but you would need to register that as a separate technique.

2. Speaking of techniques, 21 year old Jounin are allowed

D-Rank: Ten
C-Rank: Eight
B-Rank: Five
A-Rank: One

Right now you are at 4 D-ranks, 5 C-ranks, 2 B-ranks, and no A-ranks, respectively. So definitely a lot of room left to add some more techniques which will be essential for a Jounin-level ANBU.

3. Please take out the instruction paragraph in the weapons section.

4. B-rank Chakra Control unlocks the Genjutsu skill, so you can take out the strike marks. Also, Jounin are required to have at least D-rank core skills, so you'll have to move a point to Genjutsu.

5. In the special position section you listed Black Lightning, though I see no techniques in your jutsu listing or in the custom creation area. Not sure if you reserved that special technique or not, but if you did you'll have to register some techs for it or take it out to avoid confusion.
