Description:

A contact type sensory-technique. By dispersing one's signature Metal Sand into a specific area, the user is able to discern the presence of bodies that come into direct contact with it. This Sensing Metal Sand can be spread across a wide terrain, or even float in the air allowing aerial foes to be detected. Once the Metal Sand comes in contact with a person, it will wrap itself around them, rendering even invisible targets, visible.

Because the Metal Sand is dispersed rather than used in visibly dense volumes, it only takes 1% of a selected Jiton[Sand-Type] Volume to cover the same area that a technique manipulating this selected Volume would (e.g "Lake"[B-Rank] Volume up to 25m³, it would take 0.25m³ of Sensing Metal Sand to cover the same area of 25m³).

The selected Volume for area coverage is used for just that: area coverage. The Volume Variable Consumption is dictated by the actual Volume of Sensing Metal Sand used (0.25m³ in the above example).
