Weapon Ranks

I've been looking around for this for a while now, but I've yet to find anything relevant. I'm aware that weapons have individual ranks for both their Strength and Endurance, but both the ones in the shop and the custom ones that have been approved usually list an overall rank for the weapon as well. My question is, how does one actually calculate the overall rank of a weapon based on its sub-parameters?

A lot of the A-Rank custom weapons have A-B or B-A stats, but all of the shop purchased A-Rank weapons have either A-A, S-B, or B-S stats. I can't really find a constant to how the overall ranking should be calculated, or even how high the sub-parameters can be for any given rank.

This is majorly staff guideline we try to enforce, however, the first question you should ask: "What's the difference between the Shop Weapons & Custom Weapons." One thing, ability. Shop items possess no ability other than the standard cutting and deflecting abilities. Custom tend to be weaker at creation due to their ability. Depending on the ability, depends on the starting Stat the staff will tell you to place if you come to an incorrect conclusion for proper balance yourself. This would usually mean, the stronger the ability, the weaker the sword, however, there is an exception. If a sword purely focuses on a single aspect, like endurance or strength, it is heightened in price, lowered in the other, and allowed to reach a higher rank.

As i said in the chat, all the shop should do is determine pricing, as it's similar to Jutsu, each Weapon is an individual and special, telling us to set perimeters with definitive settings for weapons strength, endurance, overall rank with abilities we don't know nothing about, is like telling us to pre-label the meaning of S, A, B, C, D, E Rank with definitive roles with no room for inconsistency. Impossible.

The best i can tell you, make your weapon, decide your stat, staff tells you to change it, you change it. Just like you would do with Jutsu Ranking.
