Umeda Orie, her body having been in pursuit for a many years happened to come across a peculiar sight, the sight of the land of tree. Indeed, this place was far beyond her knowledge as it was however, she would only assume that for whatever was the matter of being, she would come across it soon enough. She had lived with far too many betrayals in her life to account for. However, she could only do so much and well, her life had a time limit. She knew it quite truthfully and as she would move with a calm stature about herself, she would only ease a calm sensation as she knew she was going off her rocker here. It was only after she made contact with Tera that she actually begun to understand that killing the weak was no way for a rogue to live, however she had her fun from time to time. Today though, was completely different as she would aim to do something far more treacherous than she had ever done in her life before. The villain had planned to kidnap someone, anyone with chakra flowing through them enough for her to train them to be far superior to her one day.
That day was a long ways off, but to impart that knowledge was more than enough for Orie to understand. Her feet only lightly touching a branch before pouncing off it once more. Her very body cloaked in that of a tan peasant robe while the snake kanji was on each shoulder. She would also bear the snake contract scroll on her back, her body having moved subtly from side to side before appearing as a sufficient individual. Her red hair hidden, her pale skin equally so as she would now land on the ground and just walk. Walk and listen to that which was around her as she could only assume and ascertain a position within herself just enough for her to know and focus on her surroundings. This at the very least was her goal as it would never change from that. On the other hand, so she hoped to not change it in the manner that one could possibly see it changing in the future. Her steps quiet in their wake, the movements meaningful to the way she moved with an ease to itself. Her voice quiet as she whispered unto herself, “Where shall I find one who fits the bill?”

made by akemi Rika was having a productive day so far. She had been sent out on a D-Rank mission to help an elderly farmer that lived just outside the village harvest some of his remaining crops before the weather got too cold and they all died. He was a pleasant old man, and very nice to chat with, and he didn't mind the fact that sometimes she was a little clumsy and had dropped several vegetables onto the ground, getting them covered in mud. He didn't even mind having Gentou around; the little bird perched on the man's shoulder, trying to satisfy his curiosity about who the person was by pulling at his short gray hair and the straps of his overalls and, once, knocking the poor man's hat right off his head. Rika had scolded her mischievous little jay, but the bird just didn't want to listen.
After a few hours of working and conversation, and after an end had been put to Gentou's antics, they had all but a few rows of the huge garden done. That was when she saw a strange woman that she'd never seen before, with bright red hair, heading in the general direction of the farm. She couldn't make out anything about the woman other than her fantastically bright and very pretty hair, but still, she was intrigued. It wasn't often that they saw strangers here, in one of the smallest of the shinobi nations.
...perhaps the woman was lost? That would explain why she had wandered, alone, into the countryside of Ki no Kuni. She didn't appear to have any destination in mind from the way she was moving, and Rika couldn't help but feel bad that she was just standing there and watching, without offering any help. "I'm sorry, Farmer Hotaka... Do you see that woman over there?" He nodded in affirmation, looking a little confused. "She looks lost.. I'm going to go help her. Are you alright to finish by yourself?" He said that he was, and patted her head affectionately as she smiled brightly and headed over to the gate, letting herself out.
She ran over to the woman, and was close enough to hear her muttering to herself. I wonder what she's looking for... "Excuse me, miss. I've never seen you around here before, are you lost?" |

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true] i can see you stalking like a predator Someone appeared in front of Orie, her eyes watching with an almost iridescent glow as she would look at this blue haired child with wonder. She smiled when she looked this girl up and down, that composure told her many things about this girl, most of which fit what she was hoping for and she would smile and with a calm composure, she would look upon this being with a complete and composed sight of her eyes. Her blue eyes watching with curiosity as she would look upon her with a calm and complete watch. Was she lost seemed to be the first question this meat had asked of her, and she would only smile more as she shook her head in a calm composure. “To be lost is to know of a place you wish to go without the capability to get there while I am not lost for I have no place I wish to go.” A round about answer, a completely cryptic one that she would only pass on with a small chagrin and smile to her lips as she would watch and curiously gaze upon this girl. She would watch her and say, “I am Ryūchi of the mountains, and you are?”
Having said her name as Ryūchi, a lie of course while her place of residency was a mountainous cave, she would only say half-truths without knowing who was near. Orie spoke in a calm and collected manner as she had inquired who this girl was with a blatant curiosity about her eyes and lips as she would only smile and speak with a similar curiosity while all eyes were on this girl. She would wonder if this girl was a ninja, a possible candidate for which she would hope to make a name for herself. At the same instance, she would more than likely never be known as the one to kidnap the girl if this girl was a shinobi of a village and even so happened to find herself in a position of being sought after. It was diabolical in nature however, one always-found ways to realize that they left behind trails over and over again. Such trails always caused leads and yet with Orie, she happily looked the part of being a wanderer, her etched headband having been in view if one looked at what held the scroll as a shoulder strap, Orie having never left or entered a place without her scroll indefinitely.
