This technique derives from the Chakra Scalpel, though it is a step above it. After the hand seals, the user can form their chakra into visible, tangible needles that can range from the size of a pencil lead to the size of a senbon. When using this, they usually presses their hands against the body, using the needles to perform stitching and sewing without having to cause flesh wounds. After the needles have been used to stitch something, they can then be converted into healing chakra, immediately healing the stitched part without the need of waiting weeks for the body to heal itself. Of course, like it‘s parent technique, this can also be utilized offensively. When utilized this way, the needles become projectiles of various sizes. The needles can pierce the internal or external anatomy of a person from a sign fact distance, making them much more versatile than actual senbons.

The user's chakra is converted into a medical supplement with the ability to sustain life for a maximum of five post by temporarily closing all wounds and forcing the brain to stay active. This is typically used in life threatening surgeries, but has long since made its way to the battlefield in order to save comrades.

Shōsen Densō is merely Mystical Palm Technique with an increased range for combat purposes. The transmission begins after the required hand seals, and the user directs their chakra to any shinobi they choose within eye sight. Because the user is usually treating multiple patients at once, they must delegate the necessary amounts of chakra to each shinobi according to each, individual wound. That being said, any movements outside of the occasional shift and wobble will completely disrupt the healing process. Making the greatest weakness to this: the level of vulnerability that the user subjects themselves to.

While typically used on oneself, it can be used on another by the user holding their hands over someone's wound. This technique, rather than replacing dead cells with new ones (which shortens a person's life span), revives as many dead cells as possible.
